Eugenia Cooney

As long as she's on YouTube I don't think she will try to recover, a lot of the people commenting praise her and admire the way she looks and bash anyone that says she needs help- so as long as she's on YouTube its giving her more of a reason to not get help

I legitimately think she wears a wig, too.
I also think she's wearing a wig or has extensions or something because when she burnt herself with her straighteners she had to wear a massive bandage around her hand for ages, if a tiny burn caused that much damage I cannot see how her hair could look so healthy

If you haven't seen it, here's the only video I've ever found where she addresses her weight- the "naturally skinny" excuse is total BS :meh: I wonder what her everyday life is like after the camera turns off..? She must be exhausted all the time.

I am not defending Eugenia in any way. I do however know people who are just as skinny as her (referring to the earlier videos, not the most recent ones. She looks too skinny these days) and have abundant energy, albeit they definitely cannot do strenuous exercises like interval running or weight lifting, but as far as regular everyday things and as well as socialising, they're up for it and are not exhausted all the time.

Do they have eating disorders? (Just out of interest)

Her bone structure is quite wide, hence the massive thigh gap. I, too, have an aunt who's just as skinny as her (but she's petite) and is in good health.

I wonder if she's making money from her videos? If so, then I can't see her stopping any time soon.
Definitely. With 700k+ subscribers she would make some money from ads, some from selling her merch and most of her money from sponsored lookbooks/makeup tutorials (I don't watch her videos but she seems to do quite a few of these judging by her thread?).

I'm not speaking from experience, so take this with a grain of salt, but from what I've learned by talking with people who have experienced severe eating disorders, the manic energy is just part of the disease. It's your body trying to keep you going long enough to find some kind of nourishment so you don't keel over.

The fact that she's actively losing weight should really be a red flag to her mindless white knights. If she did have some mystery illness that caused her to be incredibly thin, you would think that after 20+ years she would know how to manage her diet so that she could maintain.

No, I am referring to perfectly healthy people.

I am not familiar with Eugenia that much or her health condition, so I can't say anything.

However, people can still be skinny and still have good amount of energy AND BE HEALTHY! I know for many people, they see it as an impossible phenomenon, but I have seen it first hand. I have lived with them: these incredibly skinny girls (think of BMI 15.2). So it's not just superficial knowledge from my end. Yes it is very rare, but there are people like that.

Again, can't speak on her alleged illness, but I know my sister in law who has tried to gain weight all her life. She is 31 years right now, and she has hated her skinny body so much that she was very insecure and would always try to cover it. She would refuse to wear jeans, pants, skinnies- and would only wear all kinds of different dresses. Just like how fat people can't control their hunger, she had the oppsite problem, she would eat everything and anything but just cannot go overvboard too much. I have seen her trying to get gain-weight drinks, but it was still hard for her to gain weight. She just can't keep the weight on for too long and can't keep overeating everyday.

She's accepted it now, and much happier with her body.

I know for so many girls here, the concept of failing to gain weight is very unfamiliar and obsurd, but it is out there.

I, and many other members, are or have been in the 15 and below category of BMI and we are perfectly healthy. We're not talking about us; we're talking about Eugenia, and her blatant illness. I feel pretty safe saying that her BMI is well below 15. These anecdotes you keep bringing up don't pertain to the subject at hand (Eugenia) because she is. Not. Healthy. I'm not going to play WebMD, but anyone with eyes can see that this is a very ill individual.

. Misguided SJWs that show up to tell everyone else to stop 'judging' her and that maybe she has some mystery illness.
Unpopular opinion, but this is sort of what I've always thought. I guess I don't know of any illnesses that turn your hair into a bird's nest and make your eyes look like a raccoon, but I know my friend came down with it senior year - a lot of people at our school caught it at a My Chemical Romance concert. I thought they had a cure for it. Just gonna echo everyone else that it's shitty her mom won't get medical help.

Joking aside (ugh, I've inherited my dad's sense of humor) are there any potential medical conditions that would waste her away so badly?

I'd say her BMI is 12-13 based on what I've seen in life but with wasting.

@Sadistic whats your SIL's BMI? She sounds like my aunt who has 4 kids
She had BMI of 14 before she had a kid and a BMI of 15 after, and has been putting so much effort in trying not to lose weight.

Also how are some of you so certain that she is anorexic? She never came out and said it, so how are you so certain?

I think the wastage/bigger frame suggests starvation.

Also she looks a little vacant sometimes, like low.

I wouldn't go so far as calling her anorexic (out loud) because it's not my business and I think it's dangerous and inappropriate to put those labels on people I don't know. However, I can count on less than one hand the number of times in my life that I've actually said "That chick is way too skinny." This is one of those very very few times. The girl does looks emaciated and unhealthy and I genuinely hope she seeks real, professional counseling and I wish her the best.

From the top of my head. Cancer and full blown AIDS.

I mean sure, a model could probably pull off this low weight beautifully. But the way she holds herself tells me she's not comfortable with herself at all and is probably unhealthy. And her style just kind of ruins the whole look for me.

I don't know if a model really could pull off that low of a weight though... It looks to me (although I am no expert, and I say this with hesitation, because I will be the first to call someone out for declaring someone "too skinny") that she has past the point of model skinny into emaciation. She looks like a skeleton with skin stretched over it. :slinkout:

I have to agree with Lorelei. Even itty-bitty Inna Pilipenko looks (dare I say?) "fuller" than Eugenia. Inna is obviously very, very tiny, but she's not . . . "hollow" (?) I guess is the word I want to use. Inna's legs were little, but she still had a little muscle:

I agree.

Inna has the same SIZE legs but the build and condition is different, opposite.

Lack of muscle can really make a person look like they're at death's door
