For us, we can have a hard time finding something fitted. Getting glares when we ask for the smallest size yet the one you tried on was
I was thinking we could do an official thread of labels/designers/etc that come in small sizes (REAL small sizes, non of this vanity bullshit sizing.) Brands from all over the world. Tops, Pants, Bras, Lingerie. Of course some of us do have different bone structure, lets say two girls that are noticeably model skinny, one might just not be able to fit into a pair a pants that the other can. Also height plays a factor in it as well. For me, and other relatively taller skinnies, it's sometimes impossible to find something small enough yet long enough for our arms/legs. Small sizes generally target shorter women.
I have googled a few and some of these I wear:
American Apparel
Asos
Lulu Lemon
Uniqlo
Alexander Wang
Theyskens' Theory
Urban Outfitters (bras + panties are great)
Jeans:
Citizens of Humanity
Rag & Bone jeans
American Eagle (Jeans.. depends on the cut. I once tried on the smallest 'Jeggings" and they nearly fell off This brand is great though because it comes in 4 different lengths! I think the regular Skinny in XS/XXS fits well.. and it has a slight stretch so it is comfortable to move around in.. stiff jeans espically in warm weather? no thanks.)
J Brand
Diesel
I'm blanking on everything else
Thanks for starting this thread, such a great idea!
Jeans: (brands that I don't think have been mentioned)
DL 1961
Robin's Jean - the wing detail can be a bit much on some of their styles
True Religion - I've never worn any of their jeans...but have a few pairs of their stretchy black pants that resemble leggings, but way thicker - love them!
Genetic Denim - Love their super soft black jeans.
I'm a big fan of Joe's, AG, & J Brand too.
Tops: They are always hit or miss for me, especially long sleeve b/c they end up being too short on my arms. I tend not to spend a huge amount of money on tops. I don't have any great suggestions here :hmm:
Dresses:
Alice & Olivia (depends on the dress, but I've had some luck - unlike with their pants)
French Connection (hit or miss - their cotton stretch dresses in XS tend to accuentuate my waist)
Guess by Marciano
I'm leaving out the high-end brands b/c with almost every one of those sizing isn't a problem.
Most of my favorite things I have tailored so they fit perfectly. I never saw the value in this until I started doing it and everyone was commenting on the fit of my clothes...which before were always baggy. I highly recommend this for pieces you love that will last several years.
