I haven't seen The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (though I'd like to see it) but I saw her in The Nightmare on Elm Street and she looked great in it.

I read somewhere that she decided by herself to starve and look skinny in the movie since in the book, it says that her character was anorexic. The director didn't ask her to loose weight, she did it by her own commitment, which I think is great!

She also got the three piercings that the character has (nose, lip and eyebrow) done for real too! Ouch! Now that is some commitment!
I love her too and I prefer her new style... I like the cutesy, girlie look that she before but I like the badass edge she now has.
She said that the real piercings were actually those that didn't hurt in the long-run since you get used to it!! The fake ones were apparently quite painful :s

I saw the film just some days ago, and I think she looks great!
But like Natalie Portman in "Black Swan", I sadly think the role forced her to lose weight, and that she will be back to normal size as soon as possible.
She would make a great thinspo for shorter girls who can´t relate themselves to rumway models who are 5´8 or 5´9.
I really hope she keeps herself that way.
