But that doesn't mean we can't talk about it and it's cast!
So, what do you guys think about the girls? Pretty? Ugly? Skinny? Chubby?

I think Trojan's pretty skinny

I looove Troian! Spencer is my favorite Liar and maybe the skinniest.
Aria... I love her in the show, but Lucy Hale has THUNDER THIGHS and SADDLEBAGS!

Hanna is not that bad... But she kind of has mommy arms.

Yep, Troian is the best.

Or maybe Shay Mitchell, she used to be a model! And her legs are looooong.

ADDICTING as hell. This show is definitely going to be my guilty pleasure this summer.

They changed a lot. I've started reading after the first season started and I actually prefer the show.

First of all, the girls are much closer to each other in the show. And more likable in my opinion ;-)

Ashley would be ok for every other character but a bit too big for once-fat-now-skinny-and-focused-on-her-looks Hanna.
On the other hand, it's probably easier to shoot flashbacks if she's not superskinny

This surprises me because even though I like Hannah's character, I think she is the biggest girl on the show.

I feel like the starts get skinny for the first season and then slowly gain it back. It seems this way for quite a few TV shows...

I don't think she's necessarily "big," but her face sometimes makes her look above an average weight. That, and her midsection isn't very defined.

If I had to pick the cast and be faithful to the books, I would pick (not considering acting skills, as the girls are models, but looks):
Young Gemma Ward as Alison (blonde hair, blue eyes, porcelian skin, button nose, skinny, beautiful, striking... So Ali!!!!)

Nataliya Piro as Emily (red hair, slim, pretty, if not a bit plain)

A younger (and maybe less tanned) Adriana Lima as Aria (black hair, blue eyes, mysterious, boobs a bit big)

Erin Heatherton as Spencer (pretty, green eyes, dirty blond hair)

Younger Alessandra Ambrosio as Hanna (brown hair, brown eyes, slim but not the slimmest as she struggles with weight, attractive face)

I love the show but I feel that the book descriptions are better

@diamondsjoyandcharm You should have done the casting for the show haha I never ended up seeing an episode, but seeing the cast after reading the books... It's just all wrong!

I pictured them all 100% the same way in my head as you described above.

Vlada as Mona (platinum blond hair, superskinny, beautiful, blue eyes)

Bambi Northwood-Blyth as Jenna Cavanaugh (green eyes, brown hair, pretty overall)

Ali Michael as Kate Randall (pretty, blue eyes, brown hair, acts sweet in front of grown ups, but is actually a total bitch)

Agyness Deyn as Naomi Zeigler (blonde, trendy, in the books it actually says that her hair was cut short and shaggy like Agyness's)

Lily Cole as Riley Wolf (not so pretty, red hair, "ratlike" nose so I'm guessing a very small one???)

btw, I change my mind abour Young Adriana being Aria. I found Kolfinna Kristófersdóttir to be a much better and edgier Aria with her ice blue eyes and jet black hair (only Aria would have longer hair)
