Kaia Gerber

Came across this gem from 2014, and while its not indicative of her state today (she was 13 after all) it is entertaining

i fail to see how it’s entertaining to snicker over the appearance of a 13 year old child?? surely there must be something better you can do to entertain yourself, or are you just that bored?

saving that meme, but anyways it came across to me as slightly more malicious than i’m sure was intended by @IcedAmericano so my apologies for being wound up over what i’m sure was just having a laugh over old pictures of a once awkward tween girl — now very successful model. i hate to be that person that takes jokes too seriously as i too can’t stand the person who takes jokes too seriously lol

I'm not sure if any of you watched her live with Alexander Wang from the other day but in that live she (very) briefly mentioned food and fitness, something we very seldom hear her talk about. I wouldn't say it's worth watching the whole thing if you're only interested in the diet related talk, so I quoted it for you:

[...] I've been working out a lot, because I'm like I could either come out of quarantine like a couch potato or I could come out and be ready for whatever. [...] I'm either gonna come out of this in like the best shape of my life or the worst, so I just decided on... you know, working out and at least it helps to move every day. It's so easy to just stay in bed and that has been getting me out of bed.

[...] you just go out all the time and never cook [in New York]. [...] It's very rewarding, because I sort of know how to cook but when I'm alone I never cook for myself. I'm like 'I'll just eat a bowl of cereal and be fine', I'm so not high maintenance at all but I've been in quarantine with my whole family so now I'm cooking for all of us and it's been so fun actually to learn.
A: What do you cook?
K: I've gotten really got at, and people make fun of me for saying this, but roasting vegetables! It's been so fun because there are so many good vegetables to use and we're trying to obviously use the stuff that can go bad, so I've started to kill the vegetable game. My parents are like 'if you make carrots one more night Kaia... we're done'. It literally just means cutting a vegetable and putting it in the oven, it's not that special, but I'm very proud of my vegetables that I've been making.

[...] and I've been baking a lot which also my family is mad about because there are just so many sweets all over, like I made pie, I made carrot cake, which was really good, I made cookies...

Nothing revolutionary really, but I still thought it would be fun to share as she has talked very sparingly about her diet and workout habits in the past, and I know it's something we've all been very curious about. Maybe more so back in the day, but still.
