I would usually never dignify her by reading/looking at anything she posts but I looked into her “chronic Lyme disease” and am broiling with anger at this morally disgusting attempt of hers to get more attention.
First of all, it is not an actual medical diagnosis: but rather the medical equivalent of horse shit. This is a website I read with actual doctors and reliable sources that demonstrates how illness fakers use chronic Lyme disease to garner sympathy and waste medical resources. Her using this fake disease overshadows and invalidates those who are actually suffering with true Lyme disease. How horrible of a person do you have to be to think it’s okay to do this?
On the Munchausens note, I was hesitant at first (since it’s a serious syndrome) and I know that only a medical professional should be attaching such labels. But at the very least I see Bella as an illness faker and someone who enjoys dramatizing or making up struggles so she can 1.) stay in the spotlight and 2.) keep the conversation about her focused on sympathy and “you poor thing” comments. Who can forget when she blamed her bad mental health on the struggles of getting dressed every morning? Or when she tried to relate to her fans by complaining how she was mnever allowed to buy designer clothing as a child? One of her medical records she posted is from “Manhattan Advanced Medicine”: a clinic whose doctors have been under fire for health care fraud.
I’m glad in a way that she’s getting attention online as people are finally getting a glimpse into her character.

There’s no way she isn’t in rehab or at least some other mental health institution. If she is, although I might hate her, good on her for wanting to better herself but this whole Chronic Lyme Disease thing is so embarrassing yet exhausting to witness.
She is stupid if she actually thinks this ancient medical reports prove anything...

What really bothers me is how performative this seems, especially since she's framing it as "bringing visibility" to her "illness." There isn't any effort to actually educate her audience on chronic illnesses, or even advocating for anyone who is actually chronically ill. The only topic she's shining light on is herself.

So, Gigi was walking around New York with Leah McCarthy a couple of days ago. And Gigi looks worse than usual. She’s not even pretending to make an effort now. At least Leah’s arms are redeemable. I also attached the comment section, because it’s just laughable. Apparently they’re unhealthily skinny. Where???????? I must be blind.

I was at a new italian restaurant called Cecchi's in the West Village when Gigi and her friend (don't know who she was, some brunette girl) walked in. It was fashion week. She sat down right next to us. We were all curious to see what she ordered. She ordered the appetizer salad (literally a few leaves of lettuce with a few slices of onion and cherry tomatoes) and addded chicken on it. Prob ~300 calories? She had some sort of orange drink, may have been a cocktail. Was suprised she didn't eat much. Couldn't really see her body because she was wearing an oversized varsity-style jacket. I was surprised by how damanged her hair looked. Face was prettier/less bloated than I've seen in pics.
I always wonder how her eating habits are since she grew up with Yolanda as a mom. She portrays this persona of a ‘chill girl’ who loves to eat burgers and play sports. Bella has her whole ‘I eat a pizza every day’ thing going on so I wonder if it’s some sort of PR thing. Either way, whatever she’s doing it’s not working.

I just double checked the guidelines for treatment of late disseminated Lyme disease and oral antibiotics are 1st line. IV antibiotics are reserved for if unresponsive to oral antibiotics. Sooooo my guess would be it’s probably not IV antibiotics (she should be too sick to pose for selfies) but rather anemia + IV fluids to correct nutritional deficiencies. So less Lyme disease, and more disordered eating? Apparently she’s been posting camera rolls of pizza too?
Nvm: I just saw a comment about alcoholism. So nutritional deficiencies likely secondary to disordered eating and/or alcohol use disorder.

I mean the treatment facility doesn’t seem to be very reputable to begin with so I’m not shocked about that. If anything they’re probably happy a celebrity is delusional enough to promote them.
