Hello ladies,
I didn't find something like this on the forums so far, could be it is in a section that I don't have access to (I apologize in advance if that is so) - but I know that there are lots of fellow women here who enjoy a good workout and even weightlifting. I have been finding it harder and harder to find decent inspiration of skinny but fit and muscular ladies (I fully admit I might like a bit more muscle than the average SG forum member, if done tactfully - no Candice S. Bodybuilder Arms). Just today I was looking for dumbbell exercises and came across this abomination from the magazine SELF, that seems to have taken obese "models" as their newest fitness craze. I for one find them not only hilarious, but also seriously frustrating - not the kind of "motivation" I was hoping for. Do you know of fitness bloggers, IG-ers, even online magazines, etc., that still follow the skinny aesthetic? I'm really coming up dry here.
Some examples of what I mean, but I really hope you can help me find some better ideas:
Simone from Body by Simone (not exactly skinny, but strong abs and arms)
Maggie Q, who at 40 is no longer the slimmest she has been, but still kicks ass and has visible muscle definition in her thighs
Camilla Akerberg (some influencer?), when she isn't puffy and super orange (still too bulky for my taste):
Annalynne McCord back when she was skinny:
This random instagrammer called Denise
