This is a very happy day - the day when SGF got a Friends thread!
I adore this show! It's my favorite of all times. Me and the boyfriend watch it over and over, and are never tired of it.
It was a little strange, when I saw a video of the cast being on Ellen, and she was playing them their own lines from different episodes, and asking them to finish them - we knew all of them, and they forgot almost everything. it was a tiny bit sad, because I mostly ignore the fact that this was a show, and that they were the actors. I like to think this was real life
My favorite by far is Chandler - his sense of humor is pure gold.
I cannot say I dislike any of them though, not even a tiny bit. I think the show was absolutely perfect the way it was, that all of the characters had their huge contribution to it, and that you could not remove anyone from the equation and still obtain the brilliant result that this show was.
The plot was also fantastic - they had a set of amazing writers indeed. They always managed to keep it alive and were very ingenious with the twists, while keeping everything moving forward and making perfect sense.
I think I'm gonna go and write something like "An Ode to Friends". BRB.
EDIT: Jennifer Aniston was one of my first thinspos. Watching her lose weight and tone up during the evolution of the show was fantastic (DAT WAIST). Not up to my standards now, but THEN. My Gawd.
