Very intelligent very refined and rich woman. I love her! Powerful and important without george.Also she us skinny.
 
She's so elegant and composed. She's a woman who really commands respect.

I find her incredibly inspiring in the fact that she's intelligent and stylish and beautiful, but then also seems kind and warm. A really great role model.

Also she is the proof that serious man (and desirable from many women plus my mom) choose a skinny and determined woman!
 
She looks gorgeous and fresh! I'm a bit embarassed because of his age but I always liked George :lol: they look so elegant together

not at all, she is proof he is gay ;) . sorry girls, seriously he is gay. things got so tense for him and even people that used to shut and cover up started to talk lately, this marriage is damage control only. he is going to get more and more involved in politics soon and therefore needed to silence the talking asap. hence shotgun wedding minus the baby.

i know it's so frustrating but it's true. pathetic stupid entertainment industry- so many gay men and women still feel the urges to lie about their sexual orientation- it's a shame. aaaaand it's offtopic, so sorry again and back to topic:

Amal is very stylish and skinny and i agree with all of you, I also love the fact that she is a super smart, successful, independent woman!

Oh I just love her. For a time when I was younger I had the idea that style and substance were mutually exclusive -- a misconception Amal disproves completely. I can't help but thinking, however, that she could have done much better than George Clooney...

OMG I have heard rumours about this from insanely credible sources. It's definitely something I would usually dismiss as just a rumour if it weren't for who I heard it through and what she allegedly saw. Sorry for the vagueness but I'm so interested to hear more now. Hmm.. I wonder.
 
I've also heard gay rumours about about Bradley Cooper, but not nearly as detailed as what I heard about George, and not from quite as great a source either. I guess when your entire career revolves around your hetero sex appeal, it holds power over the decisions you make regarding your private life too huh.

When he runs for office (perhaps California :popcorn:), he will seem more 'grounded'.

I haven't heard about George Clooney or Bradley Cooper but yes I've also heard a few rumours/stories about other certain celebrities from people I know have seen and stuff. I can't say if it's true or not since I've never been anywhere near the source but I have heard how they do try to squash these rumours rather fast before it gets any bigger.
 
Wow...I'm not saying I don't believe the rumors (have heard similar things before), but If it's really true, I don't understand why he chose Amal.
His choice in women was getting more ridiculous by the minute before he started dating her and there were so many young women who were after the money and wanted to build a career on dating him. Why not marrying one of these women when he was dating them anyways?
I understand why somebody who's after the money only would agree to a deal like this, but I don't believe or don't want to believe that Amal is that kind of woman. A) She's very smart and already has a career in which B) being George Clooney's wife doesn't help her at all, maybe even on the contrary, and C) as far as I know she has never tried to get into acting or whatever, so I don't see why she would agree to this.
Unless she's homosexual herself and needs to appease people ... OMG.

This is exactly what I think, she's smart and rich and she doesn't need him, if it was a fake marriage why didn't they choose some wannabe VS model who actually needed some attention?
Anyway if this is true I feel very sorry for him, he's almost 53 and lives in a lie. Everyone should be free to love whoever they want.
 
Insanely smart, beautiful, classy and accomplished in her own right. She is really exceptional in today's world and definitely someone to aspire to.

I have no idea about Clooney's sexuality, but if what @sabine said about him being seen with another man is true, then maybe he is just bisexual? Somehow Amal doesn't seem like the person who would go for a sham marriage to get money or fame, she has enough of both due to her own accomplishments. Maybe Clooney just swings both ways? ;)

If you were a gay Hollywood heartthrob with a very public campaigning position and political ambitions hoping to transition from entertainment to government, and you had to pick a partner for your sham marriage, would you choose a random bimbo or Amal Alamuddin? She will make a much more credible political asset, to put it crudely, and they evidently have the same humanitarian values so could probably envisage an important collaboration even if there is an ulterior motive for the relationship.

As for her reasons, we can always hope she's into chicks :D, but plenty of women are getting hitched because they want children and haven't found their soulmate in time, or because their family is insisting, or for companionship, or to help their own career intentions (if there's any kind of activism aspect to her work then publicity will definitely not hurt)...

Or maybe they just love each other :D

I've never heard any of these rumors before, there again I don't really "follow" George's life style.

I think she is the epitome of modern day successful woman. The beauty and the brains. She is smart, has a successful career, portrays elegance, killer fashion sense, skinny, and married the man millions of women wanted. She seems pretty awesome to me.
