Mine:
Basic colour palette: black, white, grey, navy, cream, beige and brown. I normally also choose bright red, baby pink, royal blue and emerald green (just my preference).
Wool sweaters: Get them in all colours desired
Cashmere sweaters: Get them in all colours desired
Tailored blazers: Black, white, navy (plus any one or two colours)
Vest tops (good quality): Get them in all colours desired
Good quality shirts: Get them in all colours desired
Skinny jeans: black, grey, light blue (summer), dark blue/midwash blue and white (summer) plus any other desired
Bootcut jeans: Black and midwash blue
Boots: Black and in brown (I normally choose suede)
Ballerinas Flats: Black, beige, navy (again I choose suede)
Oxfords: Black and brown
Watch: Nice quality straps and dial. Don't choose brands like MK (if you like it then get fossil).
Dress: Formal dresses, not too short in staple colours and then always choose one or two out of these colours (mine is red).
Summer dresses: I'm really girlie, so I normally choose pinks and cream floral dresses
Cardigans (not too heavy, to go with summer dresses)
Scarfs: according to what you wear, but make sure they're simple, fine quality wool or cashmere
Good quality winter coat (I advice to buy at least 2)
Trench coat: I know burberry is the one to get, but I wouldn't buy it, especially if you're living in cold weather, I'm about to go out and it's pouring with rain and I can't wear mine because it's so lightweight). Plus its dry clean so you end up spending money all throughout the year. There are hundreds cheaper and much more heavy weight.
Wellies. I have hunters, but apparently they're not the best, who knows?
Ankle boots. Only wear these if you have the body to pull these off. Otherwise they make your calves look chunky
Arm/palm warmers - I live in mine (cashmere)
Knee socks for your boots
tights - black, grey, brown, navy, skin coloured (in a range of thickness)
Heels (black, neutrals, blue) preferebly good quality
Open toed heels (black, neutrals) only wear these with a nice pedicure, otherwise you risk scarring the person opposite you.
Pearls (earrings, necklace, bracelet)
Stud earrings (do not get Swarovski)
Fine jewellery for occasional wear
Fashion jewellery
Club/bar outfits
Black leather jacket
Lightweight trousers for summer (chinos/linen)
Peacoat
Right underwear
hmm thats all I can think of for now
