Hi! I searched around for a thread on Sonya but couldn't find one, which was surprising.
She's a Russian/Canadian youtuber, who makes really nice videos and she's also a blogger and a model.

Who is she with, do you know? She looks like a 'model' (read, 'my friend takes photos of me, I'm totally a model!') in that first photo, but her IG photos look good.
 
Her legs are massively photoshopped in the majority of her pics. Look how wobbly her inner thigh is in this image, also how the yellow line in the middle of the road isn't flat, but rises upwards when it reaches her (the brick work by her shoulder on the left of the picture is also warped showing it's not just her legs that have had the old shop treatment):

This one hasn't been photoshopped (as much?), I'm guessing because the outer and inner edges of her legs aren't on display, and I think it's a more accurate representation of her thighs at least.

She's with Profile in London http://www.profile-models.com/detai....jpg&btnx=0&indx=10&subid=4550&mainsubid=4550 but she's written and said many times that she doesn't like modelling and how (especially when she went to London recently) it made her feel depressed...

Oh, wow:eek: I hadn't noticed, nevermind suspected her of using photoshop on her legs :facepalm: I should be way more observant...

Or, at the very least, avoid taking pictures using backgrounds full of straight lines if you are planning on using the warping tool to conceal your "extra volume". :whistling:

I've met some girls a few times who are signed with Profile and aren't exactly 'modelesque'. Seems like a bit of an odd agency.. but I'm sure they do also have some exceptional girls on their books too.

Haha, even in that instagram photo with the blue jeans that you linked you can see a bit of warp in the line where the black meets the white on the wall behind her (right side). The 2nd photo would have been easy peasy to shop with the white wall though :)

I've never understood why bloggers (much less "signed" models) shop their body. Like wouldn't it be painfully obvious once anyone meets you in person? Why not just lose the damn weight if you can't stand the size of your body? What would your booker say when you show up at a casting 10 lbs heavier than in ig pics?

Didn't Rosie H-W start out on their board? ( Sonya talked about this in one of her vids and IG when she was saying how her booker gave her Rosie's shoes to take polaroids in... http://instagram.com/p/rUZUUlnkNM/?modal=true ) But yes, other than Rosie, who doesn't really do high fashion, I can't think of any other famous models from Profile... :confused:
Now every time I look at one of Sonya's photos, I'm really suspicious of it being shopped. My respect for her has massively fallen. Like @ZeroDiet said, wouldn't you be afraid of being found out, which could really affect your fan base, career and reputation? Just lose the weight honestly if you're concerned about looking huge in photos!:rant:

This must be from last year when she moved to London for a month to model. Through the vids she posted at the time, she did seem sad and really lonely, so this makes sense.
 
Sonya is looking really good lately i feel like she gained and now she's just working out more and more. Although what would you guess her height is? i know she was a model for a bit but in recent pics she photographs reallyyyy short.

i think she is 170-172. she looks mush shorter and bigger than other models on this picture

Her face also looks a bit botched recently ? Perhaps she had lip injections. I know she always had big lips but idkkk something's off.
