Yeah she is really grabbing for attention. She posted about her punching someone went viral and ran out to all the street style photographers talking about it. Then ran to the internet. She didn't punch anyone.

I don't know, I can imagine having a bit of a rush on the runway, and when something unexpected like that happens even the littlest movements can feel like huge happenings. Maybe she thought she hit her in the face while making that arm movement, and felt something like a hand on her skirt or something.
I can imagine she'd feel a lot of adrenaline going through her body at that moment and that can change memories
(People who are witnesses to crimes and such also sometimes remember things much differently from the actual events due to adrenaline rush and things happening very fast)
