Soul cycle cut down my thighs a full inch--it's not like cycling on a bicycle; stationary biking usually has less resistance. If you do it properly and don't overeat while training, at least Hilary Rhoda is also a big soul cycle fan (she doubles classes as well, have been in a couple with her.) Also just from a calorie burn perspective, my heart rate monitor says that I burn around 415 calories per class, and I'm 2 inches shoter than Alena. If we say she burns 450 per class or so, just two classes is 900 calorie burn, which is really significantAccording to her instagram stories she goes to Soul Cycle twice/more often thrice a day. Her legs look good for that I think. I would have expected more bulking. (But then again, I know so many 'skinny' boys (with a lot of muscles) doing bike racings or triathlon professionally.)
