Yves Saint Laurent - The Retrospective

    I was lucky to go to the YSL show at the Denver Museum the other week. A couple of things stood out to me:

    1. The samples from his earlier work with Dior were huge! I would say they looked like a size 12-14 in today's standards.

    2. While quite a few designs were really outdated, so much of his work could be worn today with updated accessories.

    It was amazing to see the couture clothes in person. They were really pieces of art.
