She attracted concern last year after she emerged looking painfully thin.
But that hasn't stopped reality TV star Whitney Port from embarking on liquid diet.
The 25-year-old told her fans she had started a three-day juice cleanse with her sister Paige.
'I have been putting a lot of unhealthy things in my body recently, i.e. overeating peanut brittle, chips and dip, wine, etc, and have been feeling tired and sluggish all the time,' she wrote on her blog last week.
But she insists the extreme eating plan was in the name of health, not weight loss.
'To us it is not about losing weight or trying the newest fad, but about being healthy and detoxifying our bodies.'
'I know some of you may think this is crazy, but we are going to try it and see how it goes!' she said.
'I try to just eat healthy and take care of myself. I don't make my diet the main focus.'
Whitney and her sister are turning to the celebrity juicers-of-the-moment, Pressed Juicery, for help.
The company has many other celebrity clients, including Nicole Ritchie.
Instead of solids, clients drink a variety of juices for their meals.
'We decided that we wanted to try Pressed's most basic Juice Cleanse -- 6 juices a day for 3 days!' explained Port.
