I love vintage fashion photography! I feel like it really showcases a photographer's talent and creativity (or lack of), since there were less special effects to rely on back then. The best images are simple yet artistic, and there's no better way to describe them except as classic.
The advertisements in particular are really interesting. Sometimes instead of photographing a real model, they have illustrations in the advertisement instead (or a combination of the two)
