I'm a total whore for True Blood. It's so violent and sexy. The books are better, in my opinion, but the series was great up until season 5 (I think? is that the one with the religious theme?). After that, I kind of lost interest due to my lack of interest in religion period.
The books were super fabulous, but the last one (# 13 Dead Ever After) burned me because she got with Sam, and it didn't mesh well. I guess the "flow" of the series was lost there. So, I went online and found fanfiction to fill the gap.
