I'm interested in buying some cute batwing dresses and also maybe a strapless romper or two, maybe with a cute floral design or something. Does anyone know of any good sites that would have either of these?

Stradivarius
Asos
Topshop
American Apparel
Urban Outfitters
Ebay

Nordstrom, La Redoute, French Connection, FarFetch, MatchesFashion, Coggles, Barneys, ASOS.

My favourite online shopping site is ShopBop.

Fast shipping, and the best customer service!

ModCloth - I love the items they sell there! I can't wait to order from them once I get a job since it's probably going to cost me a couple hundred since I want so much stuff from there!

I never bought any clothing online. How do you girls know if it's going to fit/look good on you without trying it out? And if it doesn't, I guess you're just stuck with it, right? Sometimes, I'd love to try but I'm still a bit skeptical :hmm:

You can always return it (unless it's in a sale); either there's free shipping both ways, or free shipping on returns. I only buy stuff that isn't tailored, like vests, loose summer dresses, cardigans and so on, in styles I know suit me. Never something that really needs to fit your body. I also buy shoes and just expect to return them most of the time, because the shopping in my city is lamentable, and I get designer gear in clearance sales, which I couldn't access otherwise.

I love online shopping. Most of the sites have free delivery and returns for UK stores. I hate tying in on stores.

websites I usually use
Zara.com
Asos.com
Net-a-porter.com
Johnlewis.com
HouseofFraser.com
Selfridges.com
UrbanOutfitters.eu
Anthropologie.eu
Abercrombie.com

International delivery
Nordstrom.com
Freepeople.com

I've had to return a lot of stuff from Asos but sometimes they do have some good finds but they are really bad with their sizing for clothes and shoes.

Most of mine are already posted, except for one.
Yesstyle.com
IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
However, if you're tall, don't buy any pants or dresses you wouldn't mind pairing with leggings. It's asian fashion for asian sizes, and they're normally not for the 5'7" and up crowd. :c

edit: also, the men's section might as well be porn. damn fine asian guys.

piperlime.com is nice. Free shipping on exchanges and returns! Which comes in handy with online purchases. And they have everything from jewelry to lingerie to boots and cocktail dresses. Every price range.

I mostly just but stuff from asos or hm, online anyhow. I find that asos have problem with their sizes too, but I just keep the things that are just a bit snugg, and use them as thinspo. :p

Not technically a site, but a fashion blog I follow had a good post about cheap skinnies from Old Navy.

Also, be careful if you live in the US and shop at ASOS--even on the US website, they'll process your orders overseas and depending on your card, you might get charged a foreign transaction fee. (If you do, call your card's Customer Service and explain that it wasn't visible and they should take it off)

I like the brands mentioned above and I also shop from online limited time sales like:

ruelala.com
gilt.com
belleandclive.com (Bluefly's high end sale store)

I also search for items I see in department stores on polyvore or shopstyle. Often you can find french and italian clothes 50% off just from sites in Europe. I bought a new season Sandro dress at Bloomingdales for nearly $400 and discovered it on polyvore for $190!
