It is a private thing, also lots of people are a bit superstitious, they dont want to say they are pregnant until they arrive at a certain stage in the pregnancy.

very possible and i can absolutly understand the need for privacy, but why doesn't she wear something else then, like a wide top that just hides her belly area? that would be the easiest way of keeping it to herself
