Not So New Faces

I often come across a model who has been working for a while, is SG skinny, but her body of work isn't enough to justify her own thread. I've been tempted to post her in the New Faces thread with the caveat "She's been working for a while and don't think she deserves her own thread yet but wasn't sure where else to post her..". Enter this thread. If it wasn't clear already, the purpose of this thread is to share photos of models who aren't new enough for the New Faces thread, but for whatever reason, don't quite meet the criteria for having a whole thread dedicated to them.

To kick things off, my contribution is: Anna Sophia Evers. She has been working since 2015, but her work has been a bit inconsistent. She's booked some high fashion jobs (most recently she walked for Dolce and Gabbana's SS 2021 show), but she mostly does commercial work I think. Her weight also seems to fluctuate a bit, but for the most part, she's quite skinny (and tall!).

I have been following her for a while because she reminds me a little of Abbey Lee Kershaw (most of you know how much I love Abbey!).

Alyona has been modelling since 2015/16. I've been wanting to create a thread for her but I don't think her breadth of work is enough to justify her own thread.

She's signed with Avant, height is 179.5cm, measurements are 80cm-60cm-87.5cm.

I wasn't really sure where to post her because she's not necessarily new or a face to watch, has done a decent amount of work but not too much, and doesn't seem to be very well known (unfortunately).

I think she has a very nice almost androgynous face with lovely facial bone structure that translates well on photos. However, looking through her body of work, it seems that her weight has fluctuated quite a bit, and, especially for some of the high fashion jobs she booked in 2019, she seems a bit too big for SG aesthetics. Whilst she is looking thinner in her walk for the Christopher Kane SS 2020 show, and in the more recent editorial works she did, I'm not sure there is enough to warrant having a thread dedicated to her just yet.

She debuted as a Paris exclusive at Givenchy S/S 2018 and walked a few seasons in the West, but didn’t seem to reach huge success there. She caught my eye during this past season of Shanghai Fashion Week (re: legs at C+plus SERIES). Although I love her look, I don't think her career trajectory is consistent enough to create a new thread.

She needs to work on her body, but her face is lovely, I love her wide-set eyes. Her features also seem so strong yet delicate at the same time. She has a small social media presence. Her IG just seems kind of influencer-y and she doesn't have a lot of work, so I decided to post her here (hope that's okay)

It seems like she only does photoshoots/commercial stuff as of now, but I'd love to see her on the runway one day.

I don't love her face but her eyes' shape are quite fascinating to me. There's something about her nose and her chest that doesn't align with my personal aesthetic preferences. (I have to say, in general I dislike big chests a bit simply because I cannot relate to that feature. Maybe in her case it's also the combination of being very boxy plus having a lot of chest- I haven't seen that naturally very often and can't relate to it). Anyway, she has a quite huge social media following but I don't think she's done enough meaningful, big work for getting her own thread. However there's something about her body that I really like.

I only wanted to share her last instagram post- however I got curious about other pictures, and compared to her past ones she has toned up a lot. Here's a quite doughy oldie:

I've discovered her over Instagram by seeing the picture down below and completely fell in love with her prominent cheekbones. She's done some runway shows before (exclusive for Gucci) but editorials are clearly her strength due to her strong visual presence. However, the lack of height paired with unfortunate short legs seems to be thwarting her career.
