Ha, it's interesting that people like her face. I have many features in common with her -- for example, similar lips -- and the first thing I thought when I saw her was, "Ugh, those lips -- she looks just as bad with red lipstick as I do." But evidently what I consider a flaw, other people consider an advantage. I guess it goes to show that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder! (Well, at least as far as the face is concerned). Those lips![]()
Agreed, but I actually adore this look. Childlike models resonate with me in particular because I too have childlike features. She's incredibly gorgeous, but can look quite child-like in certain pictures
She is stunning. That video was perfect- she's so charming! And those legsI really really like her. She does look very different depending on the angle.
Here's NEXT video presentation. She is adorable.

It's not that unexpected, but I do feel that it is decievingly underrepresented. For a while I just felt it was a sea of blue-eyed blondes, and even with the recent resurgence of brunettes, the bulk of them are light eyed. Looking through all the batches of new girls and who were the favourites at the most recent shows, I just don't feel that this group is that well-represented, especially when it comes to models with an appeal that doesn't come down to edgyness/androgyny.Honestly one of the best newcomers today (and a white girl with dark hair/eyes isn't that unexpected?).
Yeah, I really see her going for as well! Very excited to keep on eye on her career. And I'm glad that with all her runway success, she got H&M too. Make dat money, gurl! She's doing great: blue chip ODLR camapign and H&M (bitch is getting rich!).
With that face it's very likely she'll go far. I mean, she's not even the main girl in campaigns but she steals all the attention anyway.![]()
I think we actually might be seeing a rise of more feminine newcomers like Kate in seasons to come (thank God girls who look like girls, after a while that's now refreshing)! Considering that other newcomers are Yumi, Antonina, Sasha Luss, Nastya, Ava Smith, etc. I too love the babydoll era and hope it resurges, but I doubt that even if the number of brown-eyed girls with the porcelain doll looks increases, they will acually be the stars. Brown-eyed girls most times end up being fillers and I don't see how it could change, season after season it doesn't happen. Are they as rare as a lot of the non-white girls (with the exception of the new wave of Asians, maybe (most of whom I also really dig, by-the-by))? Well, no, but I guess Kate just has the exact sort of look I love in a model (doe-eyed, youthful, childlike, almost other-wordly beauty), but don't find that often in girls with her colouring (especially the brown freaking eyes, omg). For example, Marie Piovesan is one that comes to mind, but she definately falls into the androgynous and not the classic beauty category. Tilda Lindstam and Agne both have dark eyes but lighter dirty blondish/or light brownish hair. I guess the only other one who fits this criteria for me is Marine Deleeuw that I can think of.
They definitely look brown to me. I don't understand, is more appealing to customers to label a model's eyes hazel instead of brown? I've seen this happen too many times... :hmm:Kate's eyes aren't brown. According to NEXT they are hazel.![]()
