Jeans sizing

The size means the waist in inches, but this size chart shows the hip and thigh measurements too!
that only tells me measurements. I literally want to know what a 25 is in either a US or UK size. Just to figure out the equivalent, not to know what shape person they'll fit.. yeah, i'm being difficult
It says 25 waist is a 0 in us sizing, and I believe that would make it a 4 in uk sizing. However, due to vanity sizing and all that, a size 0 can be very different for different brands.
And you also have to take into account juniors vs misses sizing.
I'm a 5 in juniors but a 0 in misses...
25 is like size 1-2 at BEST (unless it runs small)
So I'd say UK 6
I've never seen a size 25 that was an actual 0 - that's more like 23-24
True for maybe more high-end fashion, but if you look at like American Eagle, or Abercrombie, their 0 is a 25-25.5 which really sucks. And I can't even fit into (like they hang off me) clothes at Ann Taylor including their smallest size (either 00 or 0), and Express I can't fit into their 00. I know that when it's a 24, I can manage, though it's a little lose, and I can't manage with either of those brands.
OMG - this is my problem. Seriously I can only buy pants online from junior stores that run small (aka size 00 = 23" max.) that I can get the 0 and 00 longs in.
I agree. I can hardly find them even online! I have to end up purchasing higher end denim for the length. No Gap for us...I was there the other day, and thought I might try some of their jeans just for kicking around the house or garden. Their 24s bagged off me. I thought, meh, it gives it a boyfriend look. I ask the sales associate about grabbing me some longs(couldn't find them on the floor). She says sure, what size? I tell her 24 or 23 if they have it. She says oh no only the 27 and up sizes come in long.
Because skinny people obviously are never tall.
Try ordering from Wet Seal online - the 00s are 23 waist, and they carry long sizes
Tall and skinny isn't the regular clientele. This is way I own the amazing amount of 3 jeans. Lol.
the eldest is from 2006. the second from 2009 and the newest from 2012. (absolutely steal and lucky found: in a simple Vero Moda store. The jeans just hang there, 3.2.1. mine !)
I found a nice little store in 2006 where an excellent worker took her time to find out which size I have. it was really helpful to have an expert by my side !
Since then I know that my legs need a 34 in length (I am sure 36 would be fine too), only the width has changed from 27 to 24 now.
