Greek models

I wanted you opinion on Greek models. Greece isn't a country that produces well known models, but lately I've been hearing about how Greek models and doing well.?

I don't see it. First of all they are bigger in general. secondly I find them too commercial and pageant-like (most have titles in beauty pageants or are playmates)

With a few exceptions of course.

Our known top model is Vicky Kaya.

Do any of you know her? I am not a fan of her look to be perfectly honest but she did manage to make good money so she must've done something right. she is old now but I was surprised to find that she was in this fashion show alongside these girls :

I do like Katia Zugouli's look (she reminds me a bit of Edita Vilkeviciute) although she is also old now. (when I say old I obviously mean about her modeling career)

I am just curious as to what others think of greek models if they have any formed opinion at all about them...!

I am sure Greece has more beautiful women to offer than Vicky Kaya. I googled her name, she is meh to me.

The other one you mentioned looks more.... interesting compared to Vicky Kaya.

the only fairly successful greek model i know of in the last years is ros georgiou. unfortunately, she kinda blipped, she almost disappeared after one killer season. she's with the society now, I hope they can make her happen again.

I do like this new girl Evagelia Koutalidou. She's got a very unique face with strong features that not everyone likes, but I think she makes it work and has something modern about her. She could lose some weight though

It seems like greek designers are doing much better than the models in the fashion industry. Mary Katrantzou, Sophia Kokosalaki, Christophoros Kotentos and Deux Hommes are the first that come to mind.

Actually I think it's just the nose. If you cover the centre of the picture with your hand she actually looks quite nice.

Wow, she does look manly. I feel stupid, but didn't really see it before? I just saw a big nose but bsince I was seeing her on the show you could tell she was "womanly". But having pointed out that she sooks trans... she really really does. And she's on the heavy side.

Vicky Kaya is boring both facially and body-wise, and didn't diserve all the high fashion work she did back in the 90s IMO. She's also known to be very dumb. She presented Greece's Next Top Model 1 and 2(sadly there wasn't another cycle).

Evagelia was in NTM 2 and I can honestly tell you her nose is HEAVILY photoshopped in the pics posted here. It is a lot uglier in reality. I really despised her in NTM because she let herself go and packed on the pounds WHILE IN THE GAME! So many girls were left out of the show; she had the chance to be in it and kept stuffing her face. She had a nice walk though.

I have a very hard working greek model to show you, Ioanna Ntenti:

She was on NTM1 but didn't win, because she was shorter than others. But still, she now gets tons of work worldwide and has done many many covers. I'm so happy about her, she seems like such a sweetheart. I love how modest and devoted to modeling she is.

What do you think of her? Doesn't she resemble to Magdalena F in a way?
