Uh, LA, I guess?
So gals, for me, it's the season - fundraisers, weddings, social events out the ying-yang. I've gotten tired of constantly buying new dresses, particularly formals, that I'll only wear once or twice and thrown to the back of the closet. What a waste of money.

As a result, I am absolutely addicted to Rent the Runway. Basically for you can rent a designer dress for 3 days for about $50-200. The more expensive the dress, the more it costs to rent. I recently rented these two:

An Issa London

A Badgley Mischka
You can also rent jewelry and handbags, but I've never done so. My favorite rental was this fantastic, amazing dress:

A Vera Wang

For girls interested, here's a $20 discount - basically free shipping.

Oh I wish I had use for this. Where I live now getting dressed up is putting on your clean yoga pants! Seriously, my husband and I went to a wedding where the groom wore flip flops and it was NOT a beach wedding. How I long for civilization!

Ha! I've been to one of those! The groom was barefoot, and the venue was in a pine forest. I kid you not. Major hippies though, so it fit them.

Yes! It was an outdoor wedding so of course I wore a hat. Boy were we out of place!

 Cute little hippie weddings like the one @curlycue is talking about aside, this makes me feel itchy. I'm visiting my very small hometown at the moment and you wouldn't believe the number of girls who wear WalMart running shoes, pajama pants, and ski jackets around town. Jackets with Velcro.

Velcro.

Oh god, I hate velcro more than anything in the world. That sound! It horrifies me and makes my head hurt just thinking about hearing it.
