I moved to New Mexico a few years back, and started collecting them. What are everyone's thoughts? I know that everyone these days is wearing them, but I think it's still okay if you find a really cool unique pair with a good back story, no?
For example - I have a super cute pair of black ones with red and white floral detailing that I found at a ranch wear store on a reservation, and when I took them to my shoe guy, he said they were pre-WWII!
I have another pair that belonged to my best friend's dad (yes I have big feet), and we just found out they are actually made of eel skin, which means I can totally use them as rain boots!
