I've been waiting since they started advertising for this show to begin, and it finally premiered last Monday (9/8pm) on ABC Family and I'm just like YESSS!! I've always had a thing for ballet and it seems like a really incredible, and tastefully different show. It also briefly hints into the weight-side of ballet which I found myself relating, too. Here's a site where you can not only find out more about the show, but also watch the Pilot episode as well.

Any other Bunheads fans out there?
I'd love to hear your opinions (I know there's only been one episode, but still) regardless of whether or not you like it.

I agree the school depiction isn't that impressive, but I don't think it's supposed to be a high prestigious school either. Still love it though.

I love Amy Sherman writing style and Gilmore Girls is my all time favorite show, so I'll watch this one.

OH MY GADD. Gilmore girls is so great. I didn't watch it when it was actually on TV, but I've been watching the show on bought DVD sets, and I'm on season six now. So good

I love this so much. I love ballet and Emma Dumont is just stunning.

What I love about about this is that it stars Sutton "two-times Tony winner" Foster.
I love, love, love her. In Thoroughly Moden Millie, in Anything Goes, in Shrek. She's so amazing! I freaked out when I saw her on the show.

My favorite character has to be Truly because of her awkwardness.

I think Sasha is very skinny, Melanie (Emma Dumont) has the most modelesque body because of her height and thinness, and Ginny seemed to have lost quite a bit of weight between the show's break, anyone else notice that?

I always thought she looked a little thick for her height...because she is so short like me she would be great thinspo if she lost a little more.

I've been watching this show too! And Sascha is such a thinspo + the ballet aspect of it is just...
It reminds me a lot of Gilmore Girl (which I'm currently watching from the beginning!). I think the creators of both shows are the same...? Michelle is Lorelei, period. The same type of personality in a different setting. I don't mind, because GG was a great show, and I missed something like that, tbh.

Anyone else lols at the girls ordering superfatty and supersized meals at the local diner, and being super embarrassed if caught? I just thought it was hysterical that any ballet dancer who pretends to have a career some day, would put stuff like that into their bodies! It's just a show, right?

I think they do this because it's strictly forbidden by Fanny.

Yeah! both were created by Amy Sherman-Palladino
