Models next to people...

I don't like Brooklyn Decker's body, and I strive for a body of the likes of Vlada, I still think Brooklyn has a better body than Kate Upton's. Brooklyn doesn't try to be something she's not (example, high fashion). She is a differen't type of model. I don't agree with it, but atleast she doesn't think she's high fashion like our fat cannibal.

Thank you.

Ok what is happening to the world. Everyone except the model is like super fat.
Has it come to this that if your not a model your fat?

I know right??? Although I personally prefer a BMI of 15, NEWSFLASH: there is a middle ground between bmi 15 and bmi 25 .....just saying:wtf::wtf:

I feel bad now. I thought it was her (rather well-aged) mom.

They're "being happy with who they are" or that same schlock that lead to the acceptance of Upton as a "model". Ewww. There's a difference between accepting yourself and letting yourself go to sh**.

Not everyone has gorgeous bone structure or symmetric features or astonishing height, BUT no one without those is just genetically destined to eat burgers and ice cream daily. That's a choice. (that no self-respecting person should make!) Appearance isn't everything, but it's damn important if you need to get a foot in the door or be taken seriously.

I sometimes struggle with thinking I'm being catty/snarky by thinking this about others, but I've realized... if it's someone I know and care about, these things they need to hear - they need to take care of themselves. When it's a stranger, maybe they don't need to -hear- it from me, but my thinking it isn't suddenly inappropriate. Sorry - argument with a friend over this.

I couldn´t agree with you more. I sometimes think I´m being a snob by judging people like this and I do believe its not up to me to be telling every stranger to watch the shit they put into their body, BUT I do believe I have to tell it to people who I care about (and I do, I don´t care if they hate me because of it. I even got my mom to lose 10 pounds because I´m always nagging her).

I really wish I had this forum back when I was 5'10 at 14 years old. I look at the pictures (especially of Karlie) towering over regular people and am in love with her confidence. Being 6'2 is not easy! Even if you are a model.
