Oh god I have been flipping through this thread like crazy. I've been saving images of Vlada in a folder, trying to narrow down which one I want to paint, on a 24" x 36" canvas, in a Chuck Close style.

wow, that's cool that you're making a Chuck Close style painting! I paint myself but I don't know if I could ever really do anything quite that meticulous. You'll have to show us all the finished product!

I know Vlada is so often typecasted as the sweet innocent girl due to those babydoll looks that we all know and love, but I soooo enjoy seeing her styled edgier/darker like this! She is stunning.
