It's encouraging to see an increasing environment of support and acceptance for sexual identity in the fashion and film industry, especialy when every step of transitioning is still heavily stigmatized, gatekept in medicine and can seem incredibly daunting for young people in the middle of an identity crisis. I think by expanding their conception of feminitity and gender, as well as championing beautiful individuals without descriminating based on gender identity, industries of beauty and design can set an incredibly influencial social precedent.
