What are your favourite spring looks?

Here's a few of mine, I'm always layering because it's cold and rainy during most of Spring but these are pretty much what I'm wearing these days

1. Skinny jeans, white vest top, black blazer (or my navy one) with a beige/grey/red/pink scarf. Either black boots or brown boots (with navy blazer) or my suede flats when it's warmer.

2. A floral dress, black cardigan, black scarf and either boots or flats.

3. Sweater dress (in red and one in navy) with my grey snood and again either boots or flats. I practically live in these dresses everyday because they're so comfy and look stylish at the same time :)

4. Beige chinos, thick brown sweater and beige scarf.

I don't have many i pretty much recycle these looks. So if you could please share your ideas that would be great so I can steal some of styles ;)

Well Spring hardly lasts where I live so I'm going to extend into summer when I tell you what I wear
Denim shorts or these high waisted linen shorts (a little above the knee) in dark brown I got from H&M I wear with pretty much every kind of shirt/t shirt with ballet flats
Indian dresses like kurtas and salwars (they're cotton so super breezy & perfect for college & public transport)
Navy pants with pleats at the waist with a leather belt from Zara with a t shirt tucked into the pants and a light open-front sweater on top if I'm going to be out into the night
Skinny jeans (which are now big for me  ) with t shirts or kurtas. But it's already too hot to wear jeans blah

I really want to start wearing skirts more - maybe when my legs look a bit better :hmm:

I feel my style is very boring. I dress very casual because of my job (IT) and often I'm stuck in a server or network closet so I need the ability to crawl or get dirty without showing I've just been under subflooring or something. I also live in Utah which isn't known for it trendiness and is known for it's "modesty" lol.

1. Jeans, shirt, cardigan or loose sweater, belt (to show off a narrow waist), and flats.

2. Jeans, buttoned down shirt, and flats

3. Wide legged slacks, knit shirt, low heels. I wear this style to meetings with the uppers.

4. Sweater dresses with black leggings and flats or boots.

Out of work it varies from ...

1. Casual button up, jeans, converse

2. Dresses (simple, convertible, maxi)

Going out ... is usually a sexy/short sweater dress in the winter, short dress and 4+" heels, cute top/skinny jeans and 4+" heels.

Can you wear shorts or short skirts in India? Sorry if it's seems a strange question but I always thought in India you can't get away with wearing something that shows a lot of skin. By the way, which part of India are you from? I was thinking of going to South India for my elective (if I can).

You can wear short skirts and shorts, yeah but you need to be aware of where you're wearing them. Nobody's going to say what you're wearing is 'not appropriate' but it's just not to attract the wrong kind of attention.
Like I can't use the Metro wearing a short skirt, but it'll be okay in a mall.
Anything close to knee length is pretty alright, but I'd rather not attract attention so I choose to wear Indian on days I'm going to be walking around a lot of using public transport.
And no, it's not a strange question at all :)
I live in North India, New Delhi specifically - but I've been down south a few places.
If you want to go to the south, you should definitely go to Kerala & the backwaters. I hear it's beauuuuutiful. I want to go there so much!

Thanks for answering, I was just a little unsure because it's much conservative than here. I just want to go and spend a whole month or two in India and just soak in the beauty, spices and everything. I really hope I can go but if I did do my elective there, there's no way I'm leaving India without visiting the north too ;) Anyways that short outfit seems sounds really cool, I'm stealing it!
