i have to say, i'm one of the gurls who almost never wear flats
but i'm simply in love with these air max

I'm of the opinion function trumps fashion for athletic shoes. If they are comfy get them. As a fashion statement I am not a fan but I feel that way about most sneakers. They usually look bulky to me. My two pennies--but my style is perfectly tailored suits or outdoorsy travel/resort wear so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
