I love the excitement of buying a new dress, pair of shoes or accessory, and I get so excited I want to show them off! I'd also like to get a sense of the other members' styles and share some bargains.
I bought a Prada dress and Gareth Pugh top from my auntie (who has a friend who is a stylist), only $240AUD for both! I'll take some photos and put them up if anyone's interested in seeing.
I also bought a very dark blue Givenchy cuff from http://www.lindestore.com/ for a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than I could find online (and they still have an olive green one left if anyone's keen!). I've been dying for one forever, they add instant cool to anything:

Anyone else buy an amazing item of clothing they're dying to show off?

I want some bargain buys! Unfortunately I don't know where to go and even begin, anyone know anywhere in London or some online store where I can get some good pieces at discounted prices. Please share if you do know any.

Great idea for a tread! Me and my friends have a "secret" group on facebook where we show our latest purchases and comment :) I would love to know what the skinnies on this site are buying. And thanks for that online shop, has some great stuff

My best bargain ever is my use-always Balmain handbag I got for ~90% off in Barcelona during sale time :luv: I haven't a photo of it but I'll snap one later ;) I adore it :)

I'm an eBay addict so I'm always finding something in a shop, looking it up online then buying it there :p less instant gratification but better for my bank account (plus, I get a massive kick out of it! Haha! The thrill! :p ) ;)

I definitely second eBay, I've gotten some amazing stuff from there. For example, a Prada coat originally worth about $3,000 for $300. You just have to be careful you're buying from sellers with a good track record. Some of my favourite stores/sellers are Linda's Stuff, Chanel Dreams, Aga66reading and Centurymom. They're all stores you can rely on for authentic designer clothing in good condition.
As for websites, there is a lot more choice for stuff that ships to the UK than to Australia, so you have more opportunity than I do. Some of the best stores I know that will ship pretty much anywhere are Bluefly.com and The Outnet. Definitely more expensive than eBay, but if you're like me and place a lot of importance in authenticity, these are both good places to go.

I like your suggestions, thank you. :luv:

I went to a thrift store/vintage shop yesterday called Beacons Closet. I got three amazing tops and a scarf for only $34

Beacon's closet is great! I live nearby one, also Buffalo Exchange (not particularly high end, but still quality and good fun).

I just went online shopping last night and bought these Dolce Vitas for 70% off:

And then this Nuvula top for 60% off:

I almost got a pair of Chloe sunglasses too...but then I started spazzing out over which ones I wanted more so I ended up not getting any. I did get some pretty nice jewelry for 80% off (freshwater pearl bracelet and garnet necklace), and this amazing bag for 80% off:

My latest purchase was this swimsuit from ASOS. It's also my current clothes thinspo.

It fits absolutely fine (size 8) but the only problem is my boobs look completely pornographic in it. I'm a 30/32D so I really want to get down to a C cup if I can.

Wow is that a picture of you? It looks great.

I really love to search for my quirky clothes on the internet, and I often buy from America and UK ^^
I recently found on eBay a certain swimsuit that I had in my mind since months. I found this brand reading an article about Bar Rafaeli, it's called Agua Bendita. It's very expensive, so I'm absolutely happy that I found a bargain on eBay =p

There are 3 pieces, bikini top, bottom, and the lovely "cowgirl top" (my main reason for buying it).
I had to do some adjustments tho: the bikini top is very cute, but it doesn't offer a lot of support. Considering that my underbust is tiny (66 cm but I'm a D cup :( ) I have to wear something different so that the "cowgirl top" won't fall and look too big XD
I also went to a tailor to shorten the straps by 10 cm, something that I have to do with most of my clothes, because I'm not simply "short".. I'm small in everything. I think that my limbs look long enough, but everything is tiny ( I can't even wear sunglasses because my head is too small :disgusted: ).

Here is an image of the bikini top, as you can see it doesn't offer a lot of support for Bar Rafaeli too =p

I attached my result ^^

I love Nordstrom Rack for shoes and for finding small sizes.

I just got a gorgeous green leather tote from Brooks Brothers for $98.

oh god guys, don't ask... I just spent a few hundred dollars online shopping and it's literally too much to show :whistling:

I got a Chantelle t-shirt bra on sale :luv: and I just have to say that it is the most comfortable bra I own! I'm tempted to get more and throw out all my Elle Mc's...
