I feel ashame to say that every week I google "Lana del Rey daily mail" to see her current situation and read the comments lol
I love how they write stuff like "Lana Del Rey show her sexy figure while eating a burguer" knowing that people are going to call her fat
I also think it's hilarious how all these reporters for these publications keep on clinging to her "60's-esque style icon" reputation by every last thread, and so they continuously stretch for ways to say that she's being "trendy", "stylish" or "fashionable", à la...
Though she is known for her fashion sense, she kept her look relatively simple as she sported a white long-sleeved T-shirt and tiny black shorts.
She added just a bit of fashionable flare in the form of a checked flannel tied around her waist as she completed her look with black running shoes.
Last I recall, checked flannel hasn't been heavily attractive or chic since the 1990's, and it was my understanding that Lana's persona is (or was) known to be a callback to the 19
60's... maybe we could owe the weight gain to an overall change of aesthetic? Yet, then again, that would draw the question of which one came first: the chicken, or the egg. As for talking about the black running shoes as if they're a haute trend... just why?
I'd like to suggest a rule of thumb for these pseudo-reporters who are tasked with tracking Lana's street style updates, if they're reading this: if it looks like a fat chick who can't fit into her old clothes and talks like a fat chick who can't fit into her old clothes, it could only be one thing: a fat chick who can't fit into her old clothes. No need to keep straining for ways to pretend that she's even remotely inspirational anymore.
