I love the show Dexter. LOVE IT. Jennifer Carpenter is pretty on the show (sometimes in photos she gives off a weird alien vibe with her wide-spaced eyes, but bein' weird is ok with me). Anyway though - she's pretty skinny, she can rock some pants, and she's on one of my fave shows.

I absolutely adore Dexter, it offers such a unique perspective - intelligent television makes me proud. ANYWAY, Jennifer is actually one of the only celebs that makes me self conscious. My philosophy is I'm pretty and if keep up my model's BMI I feel like I'm as hot as any gal I might see on TV. And even when I splurge and gain a few lbs, I still feel good about myself compared to most. But Carpenter at her skinniest makes me want to cover my boyfriend's eyes if we're watching the show and I'm not in my normal super thin place. I generally don't like toned/muscular bodies, I prefer slender and bony but she somehow makes it work. I take comfort in the fact that her face can look pretty weird sometimes aaaaaaand in this scene from White Chicks, where she joins all of us skinny white girls in bashing our hot bodies needlessly:

In Dexter they tend to cover her up a lot, but in the movie Quarantine her legs looked a mile long and she spent half the movie in a tank top that showed off her skinny frame.

Hahaha! No way! I always thought they had excellent (sexcellent) chemistry on the show.

She's quite thin and toned, great body for an actress IMO. Her arms could be juuust a touch smaller, I'm surprised given how flat her stomach is and how well-defined her collarbones are that they don't look as thin.

Ugh, her figure will never be a thinspiration, even if she gets really skinny. She has a heavier square upper body & no amount of weight loss can change that. She has thick arms and there is nothing delicate about her look. Also if she loses any weight, it would look abnormal on her since she has a huge face.

Though, she is kind of pretty & looks good for her body shape.

There are times when she looks amazing, and at others she looks like she's putting on weight. I think we have similar body types. I don't have a lot of fat, but I unfortunately can build an insane amount of muscle that can really bulk up my frame. I also tend to retain a lot of water, which ties in with having lots of muscle. I can fluctuate almost ten pounds within a month just because of hormonal water retention, and it sucks. Also, the days after I work out with weights, I weight up to five pounds more and it is mindbogglingly frustrating!
Anyways, she's not small framed but still looks skinny, good for her!
