Did IMG ever actually remove the measurements from their website? Just checked both the desktop and mobile versions and the measurements are still listed. Screenshots below.

Maybe IMG removed the measurements and then had second thoughts and re-added them? Pretty funny if that's the case.

I think I checked about a month ago when they made that statement, and the stats were removed (99% sure.) Pretty funny that they decided to re-add them, but if they really wanted to be body-positive they could start with using accurate stats. Younger, body-dysmorphic me with 36 inch hips would have cried and starved for weeks upon finding out my hips were apparently 2 inches larger than Taylor Hill's.

AKA: someone stop the fat girls emailing us, I’m sick of seeing it :superpuke:

Honestly, I think the reason why IMG changed it back is because they pissed off most (if not all) of their clients. Brands usually look for models with very specific measurements so they probably would've been pretty annoyed to discover that the information they needed was no longer readily available and instead had to take the additional step of requesting that information from IMG. Bravo IMG. Way to make things harder for your clients :eyeroll: Glad you came to your senses. Next step: update the measurements of your models so that they are at least somewhat accurate :smash:

Not really a size related but IMG signed Ella Emhoff [Kamala Harris’s step daughter] and Amanda Gorman [national youth poet laureate]. I personally don’t see it in either of them. Obviously Amanda is incredibly talented and accomplished, but why push modeling?!

I think that they'll be on their talent board and won't be doing the regular type modeling jobs that we think of but will still be hired to shoots, like a celebrity model.
