Sorry to stay off-topic LOL. I agree that the term 'pedophilia' can be used incorrectly but I do think that there is a difference between a 17 year old high school student having sex with a teacher vs a college freshman having sex with their professor. The difference is that in high school, the relationship between a teacher and a student is one of those relationships that the law/society considers a "relationship of trust and confidence" - meaning one person is in a weaker position vis a vis the other person and places a great amount of trust and reliance on the stronger person. Doctors/patients and lawyers/clients are the same. If a doctor had sex with their patient, the doctor would lose their medical licence. The law does not treat college professors and college students in the same way.
Anyway, I am definitely even more off topic than before because this doesn't really have anything to do with pedophilia and most certainly has nothing to do with Gemma Ward!
