Fashion No No

Personally, I think these are a no-no:

http://www.keds.com/store/SiteController/kedsUK/international

My friend tries to get me to buy them all the time :nopity: When will she learn I don't wear anything remotely close to sneakers unless I'm exercising

Also, not exactly the hugest fan of peplum dresses.....kind of remind me of a sluttier prom dress when girls with the wrong body type wear one :\ I much prefer a classier tulip dress :luv:

Some fashion no no for me. What are yours?

1. Leggings (as trousers) - I'm sorry but I can't pull this off without making it look at least decent. I'm always seeing girls underwears through them on the tube and it make me worry how people can actually walk around like this so carefree.

2. Flats with socks - tights and skin coloured socks (the thin ones) are ok but the actual socks with flats, it's a big no for me. Buy some winter shoes instead.

3. Crocs

4. Tracksuits + uggs - I find uggs very difficult to wear, I admit I do have one and they are great for cold weathers but I only wear them when I'm feeling 'skinny' enough and it's definitely not with tracksuits.

5. Trainers - They should be worn in the gym or outside when doing outdoor activity but not for normal wear. I think Converse are ok though.

6. Head to toe with labels. I often see girls where I live with their Juicy or Abercrombie tracksuits, Tiffany jewellery, Louis Vuitton or some other designer bags and uggs.

7. Flip flops or sandels with chipped polish or unpolished toes.

8. Anything where I can see your underwear.

9. Tights with holes or ladders.

10. Wearing super tight clothes where I can see the fat rolls. Ugh!

11. Head to toe bright coloured clothes. One item is pretty cool but head to toe is a bit too much.

What are your fashion faux pas? And feel free to disagree with me.

This! Just. This.

You got it all .

Even worse when they don't even know anything about the band when it's actually a really famous band. Oh all the girls I know who wear Ramones t-shirts yet only have Taylor Swift and all the other mainstream singers on their iTunes.

Yes! I told someone I didn't know they liked the stones, and she replied "who are the stones?" WHILST WEARING A STONES TSHIRT!:meh:

Ohh at first I thought you meant band shirts from not so well-known bands that you personally don't know but now I know what you mean.

Guilty :nervous:

Ugh this frustrates the hell outta me! They can at least learn to dress themselves accordingly. And the worst part, my friend wears really tight shirts (with a really big belly, poor girl) and I don't want to say anything or be rude, but I feel like I should help her downplay it a little instead of letting herself be seen like that.

Dressing your fat children in horribly tight, cheap, ugly clothes. Makes me want to cry.

Leggings make me vomit. They're trashy and gross. Have a little respect for your body. Wear a fucking skirt or something with them.

I thought that this one was obvious, but a day at the beach proved me otherwise. Fatties should not be wearing bikinis!! Yes, summer is for everyone, but bikinis are only for people who don't make others puke with the sight of their cellulite- covered thunder tights that wobble whenever they take a step. Sorry for the rant, but the biggest summer Fashion No No is fat people wearing anything that doesn't cover their fat- including tiny shorts that cut into their fat legs and disappear somewhere in the rolls. :superpuke:

-High waisted pants, skirts, etc

I actually think high-waisted skirts are the most flattering.. they sinch in your waist, and make your legs look longer. Regular skirts are :superpuke: ..

(not a big fan of the color/print of the skirt though, think form)

I agree, high waisted skirts are cute. Though I do not like it when people pair them up with little bra tops where you can see their stomach, it's not a cute look.

Really? I always thought it was a very appropriate way to show skin

You always post such nice pictures!

I recently saw a pic of Selena Gomez wearing something like that and it just turned me off from that outfit style. But yes, skinnies look so much better! :luv:

Clothes with obvious labels plastered over your chest or butt (Abercrombie, Bebe, Juicy, etc.) This makes you look like a walking advertisement who isn't even getting paid to do so

Basically all labels annoy me for the same reason—even high end labels such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. This just screams insecurity to me, and makes the person wearing it seem vapid and desperate for social status. If you're going to use the "I only buy the name brands for the higher quality" rationale, I'm going to call bs on that because the companies offer cleaner designs that don't have the brand name conspicuously plastered all over the product. No matter how expensive a clothing item or accessory might be, having an obvious logo or name on it just makes it look trashy to me.

Oh and even worse, fake bags that are obviously fake, like coach bags with G's instead of C's. *cringe*

I totally agree with you on this one. A few years back I decided to buy an "investment" handbag, but couldn't stand the designer logo that is always on the clasp. So I searched far and wide and finally found one without (same designer, but a sub-line), and now when people compliment the bag, I know that they have a very good eye for quality and detail instead of just recognizing a logo!
