The campaign was shot by Meisel (if it's not obvious by now) and the cast was simply...
A great mix of current top models, up-and-coming newcomers, icons and even a freaking 90's supermodel. Not to mention that there were TWO models of color! Finally!

I'm disappointed at Mulberry. The campaign itself was good and certainly looked whimsical (we can thank Tim Walker for that) but usually the models they pick bring something to this fantasy world of Mulberry (Abbey Lee, Hanne Gaby, Nimue Smit, Frida, even Wixson!). Usually Mulberry campaigns are not only models living in a surreal world of magic, dreams and peculiar creatures but the models are peculiar creatures. They're supposed to have this playful, out-of-this-world quality that partly brings the magic to the campaign.

I actually really like it. The surreal vibe is cool and imo comes off much better in the video than it does in the pics. But thats just me.

I don't like Wixson but even she fit right into the scene whereas this...

I like this last one. Partly because it's the only one where Cara doesn't look like a child who's just been fed a tray of pot brownies, and partly because that emerald Bayswater is what I'm planning on begging for for Christmas, it's gorgeous!
The rest of it - no. I often like the styling of Mulberry campaigns, but they keep picking really overexposed and average models. Can you imagine how Malaika Firth (my new fave - her Prada shot =
) would have looked in these shots?
