I'm sorry to bring alive this thread but my friend took street style pics of her during this last PFW.
She's looking so ugly and unattractive to me that I didn't even recognise her, and let's not even talk about her jaw. :tsk:
Her profile looks very different from her own posts, could she be retouching her nose on her insta posts?

She is sooooooo short in person it's SHOCKING, probably 5'4
Yes, it's a well known fact now! Her face is painfully average, I think she was smart to make such good connections in the fashion world, that's what is keeping her alive, because she's like a C list actress. Her body is not good to me (or anyone in this forum) but it does represents the ideal for many women: slim and w big boobs. That's pretty much it.

I mean, I agree with what you're saying but I wouldn't even call her slim anymore. She's in Bella Hadid territory, but not even tall.

From Bottega Veneta. They obscured her boobs - probably in an effort to make her look slimmer - but without them, she's exceptionally unexceptional.

What the fuck :superpuke: I'm gonna have nightmares. I literally cannot understand how can this be considered in any way attractive or sexy.

It looks disgusting and I'm sure it must also feel disgusting to lay on spaghetti half-naked. I would not want to put it in my mouth after having most of my body touch it first :wtf: Also, spaghetti is overrated.

I didn't realise, until I watched this, that you can be bad at pouring spaghetti all over yourself. She just looked like she was spilling food on herself for a really long time....

Please don't tell me these really are considered persuasive polemics? Besides her vacuous points (my life, my choices! nude or burka, it's all okay!), there's this:

1) A woman feels empowered if she feels empowered? No shit, Aristotle. This is literally the definition of circular reasoning.
2) "Sexiness may be conditioned by a patriarchal ideal" (paraphrase) + "the way I flirt, dance, have sex [i.e. my sexiness?] are my decisions and shouldn't be impacted by men" :eyeroll: HONESTLY.

And here I was thinking Ms. Ratatootsie couldn't possibly provide anything more inane than her previous confession, "I love pasta and being greased up in olive oil more than life itself".

I was wrong.

I'm mostly sad about that lovely Agent Provocateur set going to such waste :(

Am I reading this wrong or is she literally contradicting herself? Also I find the whole "I perform femininity for MYSELF and it's DEFINITELY NOT ABOUT MEN" argument to be so tired. It's not inherently wrong to want look/act a certain way, but we shouldn't kid ourselves into thinking that it has nothing to do with the way our culture influences us.

So bored of that logic, especially from the "eyeliner wings sharp enough to cut a man" crowd. Snooze.

I like the idea but this woman is the wrong one to implement it. Everything I see from her is always screaming "SEX SELLS!" into my face. It's like she can't do anything else so she has to stick out with being (too) sexy. That doesn't mean I find it sexy of course.
And she follows trends heavily. Who could deny that.

Oh boy choice feminism and my least favorite word, empowerment, because every "celeb" uses it wrong.

And tbh they should've made her roll around in some fancy big cake - would've been a little less gross.

Rolling around in spaghetti is not empowering anybody. Posting ass shots on instagram and calling yourself a feminist does not accomplish anything for female empowerment. This is the woman who pranced around naked in a video that, one could argue (and many have), promotes sexual assault.

I have a 9 year-old niece and I bought her children's books on Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Frida Kahlo, and Malala Yousafzai for Christmas because I think they exeplify women empowerment and are wonderful role models for young girls to look up to. But Emily Rattities thinks she's doing something to support female empowerment??? Sorry but I would never want my young niece to look up to somebody who's only accomplishments are because of her T&A and an appearance in a soft-core porny music video for a very average song.

"I'm a feminist because it's trendy and it fits me because I interpret feminism as I want it to be. So I don't have to change a single bit and can still do the same as before when I told everybody I'm no feminist because feminists stink and just are some joyless old bitchies with cats instead of men." She's the epitome of what most sexist men want women to look and act like. For sure she also finds it empowering to appear in topless angler calendars when someone gives her enough money to do so.

Was so disgusted by that video, it was just too much. The Ashley Graham and Em Rata videos made me feel so uncomfortable, I was actually relieved to see the Kendall video today even though I don’t even like Kendall lol... On top of that I hate it when people waste food like this. I just can’t wrap my head around “let’s cook a shit load of food to throw it away!!!”. Idk, probably doesn’t sound like a big deal to a lot of people and sure wasting that spaghetti won’t effect any of those one billion people who are literally starving, but I just can’t help but think “how would those people feel when they would see this?” Idk, just so annoyed by all the things wrong with the video that I didn’t even bother to read the caption because I’m pretty sure it’s bs anyway.

It's pathetic because her whole career is about men, I don't care how many times she's going to tell me that she's a feminist and she's expressing herself bla bla bla. The way she marketed herself since the beginning (and keeps on doing so) was for a certain target just like Kate Upton. There is nudity that is artful and liberating and other that is just to sell and keep boys interested - nothing wrong with that! She's free to do whatever she wants! But I would believe her more if she opened up to that, like, 'yeah, my body is the typical teenage boy wet fantasy and I got rich because of these losers' instead of seeing that she does it for the women and for expressing herself. Sorry but I don't see how doing Sports Illustrated is liberating or the manifest of feminism. I mean it gets you money and she's surely been smart, we could call her a business woman so good for her but it stops there. And also, she needs to stop believing she's Sophia Loren, she's fucking not
