Christmas Wishlist

I won't post what I got for Christmas but I will post what I did actually go out and buy for myself just before Christmas (thought you girls might like it :)). I saw a random girl with this on and I just had to ask where she got it from. It looks like a sweater but it's a really soft coat. And then I think a couple days later I saw another girl wearing this and it looked really nice on too. I honestly think it looks better than the pictures Zara has online. I do, however think it looks better on a taller girl than it does on me. Thought I'd share with anyone interested since I don't really have fashion thinking friends :)
It's on sale now so I got the black one at regular price but I just ordered the light grey one at sale price :). It also comes in dark grey too.

That jewelry holder is stunning! It's strange how a simple Christmas can end up being better than an elaborate, expensive Christmas. :)
I agree. Even more so because if you buy wrong christmas gift you and the recipient dont feel this bad if it was cheap. Also I fing the cheap or hand-made gifts are always the most thoughtful.
And here is the sweater:

OMG THIS SWEATER. :ijizzed:loveit.

I wanted to revive this thread because I’d like to know what things are on everyone's wishlist this year. I love reading what others would like / what they buy for their loved ones to get ideas. Plus, I have a great deal of trust with the SG community. I’d rather hear from you than any other place, obviously. :inluv:

I’m in the process of doing mine, so I will be updating this thread later.

(Extra points if it’s skinny related)

I’m going on a trip to Brazil during the holidays and got a new phone a few weeks ago which basically constitute as my Christmas presents, but my main gift is to finally get a gym membership! I’m really excited to finally have a place with proper workout equipment I can use and a great variety of classes I can take. Here’s to an even skinnier 2020

I know this is a pretty boring list haha, but I’ll probably end up getting clothes and jewellery and other items from friends and relatives too

I’m excited for you re gym membership! The classes are the best! The gym I go to has the Les Mils classes (body attack, body barre, body pump, body HIIT etc). If your gym has those classes too I’d be happy to give you some recommendations about what classes to try and which ones to not bother with. The class descriptions sometimes make them sound better than what they are... 🙄

I second the Les Mills classes. My favourites are Body Pump and Body Flow. The current Body Pump classes are heavy on squats this release so if you have hyper mobility of the sacroiliac joint, I recommend you stay away from the live classes but maybe try the virtual classes with older releases that are not too squat focused. Body Flow is a mixture of Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates. I haven't went recently but I love how relaxing it is and how it activates the muscles more than most yoga classes.

Love this. I'm currently scouring the Internet for a nice graphic design drawing tablet. Other than that, what I really want for Christmas is peace and quiet, and a cozy day of happiness. These past few years have been long, and I'd like a sentimental, wintry respite with a warm cat, the boyfriend and some board games.

I mean, I want to trade in my Jaguar F Pace for a Velar, but the insurance is an extra £3k a year because of my age. Ughhhh.
I think my husband might replace my old Louboutin boots but I’m actually hoping for some Doc Martens which are super cheap so I doubt he will buy them. Or a gift card to Carbon38

anyone else like vouchers and gift cards?!

Luxury bedding (you'll never understand how necessary this is until you have it), Nespresso Creatista machine (bc ☕), Alo Yoga sets (so much motivation to hit the gym), Skincare from Dr. Barbara Sturm, Size 23 Frame High Waisted Black Jeans (for when I go to agencies next year!), Gift card to my favorite spa, & lastly... Chloe Faye Bag :luv: ☕

This Christmas I am excited to treat myself with some new pointe shoes and leotards (I usually look for good quality and cheap price but I'm going to really get the ones I want this year) and more ballet candy. Also I am looking for some quality jeans, I don't like how the ones from Zara and that kind of stores fit plus I am quite tall so they are always ridiculously short on me, so if anyone has some reccomendations I'll be thankful!!

I don’t think it’s worthwhile making a different thread so I hope you don’t mind me being off topic:

What are you guys getting for the men in your lives? I got my husband an LV wallet, stamped with initials, but I want a larger item that perhaps costs less? I’ve got him some shoes, and he got himself the new DJI mini drone so I’m kinda stuck...

Since you live in Spain and I’m fairly certain they have them all around Europe, I’d highly recommend Desigual. It’s certainly more expensive than Zara but the quality, sizing and design are amazing, I’ve had mine for years and wear them all the time.

As for ballet gear, I’d love to know what you’re getting! I love browsing for Bloch leotards, some of them are just so pretty :luv:

I’ve danced since I was little but very casually, I do it for fun and fitness and am really no good  However, I do really enjoy it and my friends are all dancers so I have second-hand knowledge from them too. Please feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk about dance (or anything really) and I’ll gladly oblige!

Trying to figure this one out as well! I knitted him a sweater last year, and the best suggestion I've heard is to scour eBay and similar sites for vintage film lenses that'll fit his camera. It's crazy difficult to figure out what a specialist would appreciate that he doesn't already have and that doesn't cost thousands. We're also trying to cull all our things aggressively, so the last thing we need is more crap we don't use. A trip might not be a bad idea - he needs a getaway break.

I may give in to the total geekiness of much of our lives and replace the cardboard Lords of Waterdeep tokens with metal ones, ahahaha.

I honestly really just want a new flute. I'm still playing on my old student one and could really go for an upgrade.
