Ann Summers "Real Woman" Ads

ugh, fat women just want fat models to make them feel better about being oversized sacks of lard!!!! Why should we reward fat cows with modeling gigs when they don't even try as hard to maintain their bodies or look as good as their skinny counterparts?!?!

And what the hell do they mean by REAL WOMEN. Are they trying to say that only fat women are real and that skinny women are mythical creatures that don't count as ~real~ women?!?! BULLSHIT!

I don't understand why you have to be CURVY or fat to be considered a "real" woman . its stupid I don't want to look like that gag!

I'm embarrassed for my fellow fatties...at least I know that I don't look the best I could and am working to be better. Not just skinner, but healthier. Geez.

I see two other women in this ad. They don't look fat to me. Not skinny, but not fat. At least one clearly works on her body... they're being call real women, too. Why can't we just agree that all women are real women?

My eyes were assaulted by THIS as I walked through the shopping centre with my best friend ... we both threw up in our mouths a little. I mean, look at that flabby, doughy middle ... who wants to see THAT?

She's so gorgeous in her face, it's a shame about her ROLLS, not curves, ROLLS ... how can women see this as INSPIRING? This is why the UK is becoming so fat!

Maybe the ads would *like* to say one thing, but the only message I'm seeing is: "See, fat people really look bad compared to thin people! Even if they're airbrushed too!"

It looks just so obvious. So.... I'm wondering, does this make the rounds on other diet forums/blogs or fat acceptance blogs? What's the opinion on the other side of the fence? Brb, google...

So obvious that it's photoshopped. She doesn't look that bad (considering her giant size)... In real life her cellulite and lumps would be overwhelming.

You know what I hate as well, TV adverts for online shops that specialises in sizes 12-32!! Its size-ist I mean they are eliminating a massive portion of the market, why can't they have sizes 6-10 as well. Is it just so that a large lady can feel better about herself in the shop because she's the smallest person in the shop, when she's really a size 16?!? I think if shops really want to cater to "real" women, they should realise that women come in every size, even the small ones!
