Kendall Jenner

"upper end of healthy bmi" would be 170 lbs. at 5'10. Using other medical literature, a "borderline overweight" weight would be about 162 for a person of 5'10. Shit on BMI all you want, but calling Kendall almost medically "overweight" because she isn't underweight is utterly insane....Not the first time I've been annoyed/irritated/concerned by your posts by the way @thelovelybones

Which is why I corrected myself shortly after. I never called her medically overweight I just said she is certainly not underweight (which whether the fashion industry wants to admit or not) most models are. And I wasn’t aware that you felt this way about my others posts. If you are that concerned feel free to message me I can clarify anything else I said.

She really looks healthy to me tbh. As far as I know (non-obese) female bodies with big buts, thighs and tits and narrow waists = hour-glasses are the healthiest because we store different types of fat in this regions. Belly fat = white fat is unhealthy, thigh fat = brown fat is healthy and stores hormones which are important for being fertile. This is why female athletes sometimes lose their periods though their BMIs are okay: They are too muscular hence low in fat and don't store enough of these hormones. Correct me if I'm wrong.
From this point of view Kendall looks veeeery healthy. ;)

Everyone has his or her own aesthetics. We can mention what we like or not. But it would be fine to stay objectif and fair at the same time.

I think people are really starting to confuse "model fat" for "regular fat."

Kendall is not "fat" for the average person, but she is chunky for a model. There are different standards for both. She's definitely not bordering overweight, even if she isn't model potential. I'd venture to say she's 20 or 21. Regardless, it doesn't really matter because her weight doesn't change the fact that all her editorial shoots showcase the only facial expression she knows how to make, which is "dead fish."

WOW so different now than when she first really started popping up in the modeling scene in 2013.

She has truly grown into a "Kardashian woman".

EDIT: She has that bottom-heavy hour-glass shape that's really "in" right now, so I can see how average young teens would like her body

At least her stomach is fairly flat/toned in the top picture, but she's so broad, especially her hips and thighs now, it's so strange how that's considered more attractive now than the older picture. As someone with a natural slim bottom-heavy hourglass shape, I'd loove to have tiny thin hips and twiglike arms/thighs and always feel weird when people now idolize the "slim thick" shape I actively fight and dislike.

The pendulum will swing soon enough. 90's and 00's was all about stick thin, now it's about "thick" girls, skinny will return eventually. All the girls with butt implants will be screwed, though.

Maybe it’s just me but I love how everyone’s into being thick and I’m into being skinny. It makes me feel rare and special in a way because a lot of people aren’t used to it anymore.

I feel this way with the tanning trend. There's something so unappealing about dove-white European girls attempting to look like burn toast "for the 'gram." It makes me feel so much better about feeling comfortable in my naturally fair skin.

Of course, ladies with naturally darker skin are ethereal. It's just weirdly irritating when fair girls go for the orange-peel tan. No thank you.

I think all trends operate this way. Early 1900's was definitely the "pale" era, tan was popularized way later. 20's was the era of the stick thin flapper girls, 50's birthed more "curvaceous" stars like Marilyn Monroe, 90's and 00's hosted the amazing Kate Moss and Vlada, and now we have... Ashley Graham, I guess...

Yes, I believe that the skin you are born with is the only skin which really fits you and compliments your look as an overall package. Unnatural tanning and bleaching are such no-gos. Unhealthy af and ugly at the same time. Every skin tone is beautiful - when it's really yours.

Regarding Kendall’s evolving shape (more hourglass, hip-heavy), I can say with pretty good confidence that she does the same fat transfer injections as the rest of the K Klan, with the exception of Kourtney, just to a much lesser degree,

Her lack of talent is honestly comical

This looks EXACTLY like one of those ads for “18+ video games” that pop up when you’re trying to stream something :nervous: Her face and body look like CGI - but she comes across less “damsel in distress” and more zombie-like.

So bizarre that she would want to make her figure even less "model like" while her "modelling career" is still alive. And if she's having fat injections in her hips to get a more curvy figure, I don't understand why she also wouldn't get a boob job too?
