I mean, I don't really like to trash talk minors but since she's outta HS she must be 18, so here it is: She is so incredibly painfully boring and average i can't even think of something positive to say about her. She has no good angles, ok maybe 1 or 2 good staring looks...like the same dead way Gigi does, and the only reason she looks remotely thin is b/c in her photos they made the camera face downward. Also she DOES look like her mom a bit...in that 80s beachy blond way which is also very passe these days. I am not denying she's a pretty girl, but pretty girls are a dime a dozen. But what do I know....just look at the Hadid sisters...one doesn't even need to be remotely naturally pretty to still get signed and make bank as long as someone can pull strings and there are enough instagram followers to make someone a good investment. Anyway, I'm just going to crawl back into my lair of the past where models were actually breathtaking and skinny.
Agree, agree, agree - and you worded that quite kindly, too. LOL your thoughtful post made me hope that I didn't seem like an asshole towards her earlier. I definitely didn't mean to imply that she was ugly, but just very, very
average and non-model-esque. I think that celebrity children as a whole (with a few exceptions, of course) just tend to ignite a bit of rage in me. I can't help but wonder why, when they have so many more potential job opportunities accessible to them, they don't give a shit. There's SCB
complaining about a photoshoot; the Hadid sisters stuffing their faces like they're set to model Spanx; Half-Kardashian just sucking at modelling in general and thinking that it's okay . . . It's like - wait,
what?
And you are
right, and I agree 1000000%: models are
supposed to be beyond gorgeous and ethereal creatures, because that's what they're hired to be (that's what they
used to be). If anyone could be a fashion model, the word would lose it's meaning. It doesn't make sense to hire a flabby person to be a fitness model, or a toddler to model infant clothing, or a cat to star in a dog food commercial; why is it so accepted (or rather,
pushed for, by the majority of society) to have average-Betty's model high-fashion clothing when they're nowhere near equipped for that job?
I think that, in my mind, what's worst of all about these celebrities
breaking squeezing into this industry is that they overshadow gorgeous, young, international models, who wind up unfairly unexposed because they don't have a famous last name or Daddy's loads of cash. It's wrong that girls with actual model-looks and
talent lose job opportunities to ungrateful kids who don't even appreciate them.
