I looked and cannot find a thread for this show. I'm disappointed, women of Skinny Gossip. :p

I've been working my way though the last ten seasons with my fiance - we're on the season where Rob McElhenney gains like, 50 lbs, because he thought it would just be funny. I can't even imagine how a female actress doing this would be received.

Also, I think for a TV actress, Kaitlin Olson is incredibly skinny. Plus she's had two kids, which is super-inspirational. And I don't think she looks THAT much like a bird, but it says so much about her that she's willing to let that be a running joke in the show.

Anyways, thoughts?

It's the fucking funniest American television show I've ever seen.Yeah the bird is a running joke for sure, but I bet she loves being called skinny secretly. She's nearly forty if not already. You can tell she's gained weight in season 10 but still not by much. She just has really thin legs, and she's fucking ripped. But she hasn't got a real pretty face.

Sweet Dee is married to Mac in real life. And Dennis is married to the pharmacist, and Charlie has the Waitress on lock.

I really love that Kaitlin Olsen can be funny without relying on schtick jokes. I feel like a lot of women comediennes that have been getting a lot of attention lately have been fat (Amy Schumer, Rebel Wilson, Melissa McCarthy, ect). I know there are plenty that aren't (Kirsten Wiig, Nadir Pasar, ect) but I think Kaitlin Olsen is hands down one of the funniest women.

It's because she's crude without being downright gross.
 
@Ellie The show is great because there is no hero. They are all terrible people. Season 1 Episode 1 is called "The Gang Gets Rasist" and it only gets better from there.

More importantly: skinny, beautiful, Dennis. *swooooon*

His character is probably the most morally depraved of them all, but he is why I keep watching.

I’ve only recently started to appreciate this show; Frank is a favourite, Mac is the only semi-decent one, poor Charlie, and Dennis just gets more fucking terrifying. Dennis going on about the “implications” and “danger” he likes to put on his “prey” is so fucking weird - it reminds me of You (stalker boyfriend called Joe) if you let Dennis go wild.

Dee is the reason I searched this thread, she looks amazing in some of the seasons! I am glad to see other girls on here agree.
