Your latest wardrobe additions

No boobs and my hips & shoulders are reaally wide compared to my waist which makes clothing shopping awkward : /
I feel you  small waist and wide hips transform pants shopping into a nightmare!
I have boobs and hips slightly wider than my shoulders, that's why I find your proportions perfect!

Shit quality but my ipod was dying:
I still need to lose though for it to look perfect & it's a bit baggy on the waist but I have awkward proportions : /

Ah! It looks gorgeous on you!! I'm in love with that dress!

Try AllSaints, Maje, Whistles, Sandro, the Kooples. These all have good prices (AllSaints and Whistles give student discounts too) - try the fit for the one you want because I think they vary quite a bit especially for AllSaints.
Also, apparently Karen Millen and and Reiss have good ones (and good prices) but I've never brought or tried one from there.
Ohh thank you! I'll definitely look into those brands. My current jacket is from a random brand and 5+ years old, but it's the most amazing leather. Except it's way beat up now and at least 2 sizes two big. Have you ever tried ordering online from any of those stores? I don't think we have popup/stand alone stores here unfortunately. :(

Oh I didn't realise, these stores are everywhere here, maybe there's a concession in a big department store. I've ordered from Whistles and AllSaints before but I don't know about international shipping/shipping in the US policy. The rest I've brought in stores.

I tried it on quickly after class and it was too big  have you found any that are good quality leather & small enough?

The two that I currently have are from Charlotte Russe, so not amazing quality, but they still look pretty cute. And if it's just a little too big, could you maybe try putting a dress belt with it or something? I'm not sure how think the material is or what exactly it looks like on, but you could try it and see.

Here are a couple more looks I really like atm:

I have the exact same issue as you. Flat as a washboard and a flat bum, small waist but wide hips and slightly wider shoulders. It is so stressful trying on dresses with a zip down the back, it starts off easy to zip and then the closer it gets to my shoulders... And the next size up the shoulders will fit but everything else will be too big or the entire thing will just be too big. Now that I am skinny I love my figure to much more, it is slightly boyish I guess but I feel so much more feminine and pretty.

I also thought you looked lovely in that dress. Did it have a zip or was it stretch? Most of my dresses have a bodice made of slightly elastic material.

It has both a zip & 2 elastics around the waist :) I only have shoulder issues in fitted shirts, but I've been getting men's shirst and having my grandmother tailor them :D

Major karma and virtual jizz emoticons for anyone who can identify these (cashmere?) bottoms and top. Where can I get them? What brand?

Could be Céline

Marc Jacobs FW14 also had a similar style, or you could get something like that from Zara

are you sure? amanda's looks much finer to me... but might be just the picture/light.

you didn't strike me as a marc jacobs girl btw ;)

Oh no, I am NOT a Marc Jacobs girl by any means. Actually now you mention it I don't see the cashmere specks on Amanda's but it's on the Marc Jacobs...will try to track the Celine but it will be hard to find something from an old collection. :smash:

But when I like something, I am going to get it.

I didn't use an app, I just remembered that I saw this :) I would be super excited if post a picture when you got them!

I had some staples I needed to fill in some wardrobe gaps and used the black Friday weekend sales to my advantage and stocked up on these:

Topshop chealsea boots...among others
Topshop black coat
jeans from madewell (I felt nostalgic with these jeans b/c extreme high waist is so old it is new...funny....so why not)
some other blazers from here, etc

Nothing too extreme or extravagant, just some functional pieces I had in the back of my mind and was lucky to find during a recent shopping excursion...and it wasn't crazy over the weekend. I think that must be at walmart and electronics stores or something...I actually find shopping during the month of DEC much, much worse than during black Friday or the weekend after Thanksgiving in general, so now I can stay AWAY from stores until next year...

I collect weird, men repeller shoes. Sometimes I don't wear them neither, I buy them just for the sake of having them. Guilty.
the latest addiction to my collection are these & Other Stories chunky platforms

I just got a leather jacket from Hollister - their extra small fits decently well, and is pretty good quality. I also have been getting a lot of leggings - I found some inexpensive leather ones (XS) from Charlotte Russe that I wear all the time.
