Top Models with normal sisters

I actually find it really strange that Karlie's body is completely different from her sisters. She really stands out from the family photos but they all look cute together, and from what I understand they're all very close :).

Thats right! or even closer example, Giseles twin!, well, Gisel's got 4 sisters and she is the tallest and the only one with the skinny body. I believe in these cases, the models are the result of some "genetic error" (an error that turns out really good)..

Thank God I only have one brother

I actually really like this post. I know some people say they would hate to be those girls, but I think there's a kind of inspirational undertone to it. It goes to show, hereditary stuff may make things harder, but not impossible. If you want a model's body, as long as you work for it, you can get it.

If girls want to be like their sisters, it's perfectly achievable. Plus they have the best motivation, being compared.. ;)

I would not want a model sister because too much pressure and jealousy too!

I'd be super depressed if my sister was like some amazing supermodel and I was some load of shit and a waste of space. Depression galore.. :(

wow it's so weird any of the model's sister look even pretty, it's like the super model got all the good genes and let the other's the ugly ones.
im so lucky i don't have a supermodel sister

I wonder if the normal sisters ever use their famous sister as motivation/inspiration? I know I would, especially because I know I'd think (while this thinking may be flawed) they're related to me, so I should be able to look like them!

I know a set of identical twins.

One is still a model, fairly successful (working internationally, including in a couple of major markets) and she keeps herself in shape (small frame + good lifestyle).

Her sister started modelling at the same time (scouted together). She, however, was deemed to be the "less photogenic twin" (didn't move as well, didn't know her angles, perpetually late, bitchy attitude, poor work ethic, etc). Ironic, because she would always give her sister cheek about how she would "always be the better one" because she was 1/2" taller (they were both listed as 5'10" but her sister is actually 5'9.5")

She's now about two dress sizes bigger (the change took about 6-12months; I saw her sporadically). I've seen her drive her sister to castings/go-sees only to wait outside and chain smoke with a sour look on her face.

Goes to show: it's not just genetics ;)

Wow, I would hate to be in that position! :wtf:

Exactly!!!! models are naturally skinny, but they have to be very disciplined with the excercise, and food wise, and skin care wise... its a full time business...

You would not be a waste of space! It all depends on what you want to do with your life.
I am definitely the best looking sibling and was model scouted constantly as a teenager. Despite all that, I absolute envy one of my sisters who has been blessed with exceptional intelligence. She truly has the ability to leave an indelible mark on society. Could I use my looks? Sure. But her intelligence impresses me far more than anyone's looks that I have seen.
But everyone is different. Some of these siblings may yearn for their looks and/or modelling success but some may not.

It would be like a slap in the face everyday...

:nopity:

Totally agree. I know before I lost the weight, my sister who's a couple years younger was SG skinny, but since I've lost the weight, she gained. She's still thin, but she's shorter than me and over 10 lbs heavier now. Before I'd lost weight, I was sooooo jealous of her and her figure - I can't even imagine if she were a model as well what it would be like...
