So I came across this guy on youtube today- he seems to be some sort of fitness guru? I don't know. Anyhow, I thought you gals would really like one of his videos:

"Eating Every Three Hours is an Eating Disorder (there's a part two in the related videos as well)

The guy comes across as a bit of a nutjob, but I think he brings up a lot of good points about how fucked up modern society's relationship with food is. Also, I just want to shove this video in the face of everyone who's told me I'll wreck myself just from fasting a mere day.

Anyways, what do you all think?

He's right, in a way. Many people feel that they need to eat whenever they feel like they should eat and most people can't imagine not eating when "hungry". He's right in that "starvation mode" is a myth and that no one needs to eat that frequently unless there's a severe medical issue hiding. His personality is a bit irksome, though. I don't think he will make a difference as people don't want to hear it.

I don't even have to watch the video to agree with this! Why on earth do we need to eat all the time? It's ridiculous. Food is fuel.

Thanks for posting this!
