Tiffany & Co.

Like Holly Golightly, I adore Tiffany's. And like Holly Golightly, I can't afford their diamonds. Heck, I can't even bring myself to get a piece of silver jewelry from Tiffany's. So you can imagine the tears of joy I shed when my boyfriend surprised me with a Tiffany silver necklace for my birthday. It isn't Great Gatsby extravagant, in fact it's one of their simple Return to Tiffany tag pendants, but I love it so damn much! :luv:

It means so much more to me that it's a simple one, because I know my boyfriend must've scrimped on his own living expenses to splurge on the necklace. I really didn't expect to even receive a gift from him this year, because we're both saving up to for a place of our own (we're gonna start looking for potential houses in July) and money's been really tight.

Anyways, I'm sure lots of us love Tiffany jewelry just like Holly Golightly, so I created this thread for us to share either the pieces we own, or the pieces we're lusting over! I'll start!

This is the one my boyfriend gave me (virgin Tiffany!):

I've been lusting over these pieces:

This costs $300,000 by the way. :run:

This one's one of my lusts too.

Congrats on the tiff necklace. It's super cute and a really adorable gesture from your BF.

ps. NBD, just win a lottery or two and you can roll in all the Tiffany's earrings your heart desires. :p I browse their ludicrously luxurious statement jewelry section all the time. So much love for their classics.

Nice necklace! Beauty, simplicity & meaning make jewelry worth wearing. I know it sounds quite lame, but I think that it is nice to have something that is meaningful to you & classic, then you can wear it with almost anything & be in a good mood.

My lovely husband gave me this Tiffany ring:

I love that the hearts are there, but not immediately noticeable when wearing.

Otherwise, I use Tiffany's for passive-aggressive Baby Gifts when I don't really care for the parents, but am obligated to give a gift anyway. I like Tiffany's because it's expensive - thus the parent's can't act pissed off that the gift is totally impractical.
th

But inside, I can totally tell they're seething that I gave their baby a silver rattle or other such nonesense.

This arrived in the mail today.
Husband is sweating. Lol.

I like Tiffany in general. Some stuff however I would never buy because it's overpriced to have just for the sake of the name. I have quite a few stuff from Tiffany that I adore. However, my biggest regret is a chunky necklace and bracelet I got (the tag one or return to Tiffany I think - can't remember). It's still in the boxes. I think I've only worn it once or twice. I remember picking it out and everything. I was so young. It doesn't even look right on me because it's so chunky and big . I've thought about selling it but it has sentimental value to me.

I had the necklace but sold it because it was too heavy to wear around my neck.

HAHAHAH I have to do this when my "friends" start having kids! Foolproof way to give a gift that's not returnable but sure to piss off  Hopefully none of them will return the favor if I ever have kids... :run:

I love love love my tiny bow necklace! My grandmother gave one to my twin sister and me for Christmas but passed away on new years eve so I will always cherish it.

A little bit of bragging.. for my graduation present, my husband bought me a new bondmate ring to show his enduring love for me. (And a wee little bit of kink, too!)

He had it custom made by a friend he met at jewelry school. I LOVE sapphires.

Gosh, I remember everyone at my high school had some version of the bracelet and necklace - the return to tiffany's tag. I have the matching set too, but i no longer wear it as it looks like a dog chain lol

I like the dainty smaller pieces from tiffany's, but i only buy tiffany jewelries that I adore. I know girls who only shop at tiffanys cause of the name/brand , not because they like the jewelry.

Those are all so lovely! I especially adore the gold olive branch necklace. I have a silver ring with a similar design and love it!
