Jourdan Dunn

I find her very appealing, and she seems sweet. I watched a few episodes of her cooking show as well, she's adorable :luv:

I love her looks and I love her even more as a person since I started reading her tweets. I adore her deadpan humour.

Mmm, yes, know what you mean. I'm the same, and start looking bony even at pre-skinny weights - so Jourdan's not aspirational either for me. Although damn, facially, I never realized how captivating she is.

It's actually weird, now that I think about it - I see nary a hipbone nor xylophone on her. The lack of boney-ness makes it look more... natural?

Exactly. It is completely natural, and I bet nobody's ever worried about her being too skinny or unhealthy. Like Zoe Saldana at her thinnest for example.
Damn their genetic makeup...

I love her. She can look both cute and sexy (without looking slutty) and I adore her personality.
Wish I'd seen more of her.

I agree. She appears to be very natural which is kind of off putting. I guess maybe it's because I work so darn hard to be skinny. Nonetheless, she's really grown on me.

It's official - I admit publicly that I don't admire natural skinnies. Yes, they are appealing aesthetically, but I do not actually observe them with admiration.
There are in no way responsible for the way they look, and that cannot be inspiring for me.
It's hard work, dedication, and willpower of steel that I DO admire and that DOES inspire me. That is why I love this place - because the means of how you earned your body are even more important for me than the end result itself - the skinny aesthetic follows anyway

Canceled by Dior

Dior just canceled her from its runway show. Her boobs were too big to fit in the corset... :nopity: :wtf:

She tweeted this... I'd be too embarrassed!

Is "cut from the show b/c boobs are too big" code for "cut from the show for being black"? Not to be a downer, but considering Dior under Raf's track record in regards to racial diversity in the runway shows (as in, barely any), it wouldn't surprise me at all.

:( it's sad to hear because she is an awesome model but i can't believe she tweeted about it.

I doubt she got cut off because she was black, if that's so why did she get cast in the first place? tbh some people are putting to much thought into it imo, plenty of models get cut off before a show starts, also Joan Smalls walked so...and Raf was focusing on a more "cultural" show, I think it's being blown way out of proportion. Raf had a lot of PoC in his menswear show last week, he finally caught up with 2013 and realized PoC can also be good models.

I know this convo is old but just wanted to say, she got cut because her implants looked out of place in the sheer tops when all of the other girls' boobs were real.
