I like her too! I don't know why she's not loved by other models...maybe they know something that we don't ;)

I don't hate her, but that's it. Am I the only one who thinks she's just popular because of her pink hair? Look at zero0fats pictures in the first post: evrything pink, pink, pink! That bores me so much.

Agreed. I like her, but if it wasn't for her hair, she wouldn't ever have gotten as much attention as she currently does

2 pictures with pink hair, one with blonde, though her natural hair colour is way darker

Eurgh, can't stand her, for SO many reasons. In terms of looks, shes alright looking, but thats.. kinda it. Nothing special. A million girls have pink hair (but of course, according to her, EVERYONE who has pink hair is clearly copying her)

I think she has her niche. Not my niche, necessarily, but I'm just one person.

I think she is attractive but I also get the impression she tries a bit too hard to be "different" and has become very boxed into her own image.

Yes, this!!! I think she's got a really pretty face that is striking without being too weird, but this whole "image" she's creating is just going to hurt her.

It also seems odd that the pink hair made her famous. Models are like blank slates- subject to different makeup, hair cuts and colors, and even wigs all the time. And hasn't Tyra been telling us for years that unless your hair is an unnatural color or you are bald, you are too boring for the fashion industry?

I am really disgusted with Charlotte's hair though. Not the pinkness, but the state she keeps it in. It is absolutely wretched- greasy with fried ends, and the pink unevenly distributed throughout the blonde plus dark roots. WTF!

Pink hair doesn't have to look terrible.

Oh yes! Her hair also looks like dead in most pictures, somehow dry like straw, killed by all these bleaching and dying. If it's a trademark for someone it should at least look good shouldn't it?

And ot: I'm not a Katy Perry fan, but the last picture of her and that hair is stunning.

All models' hair faces abuse - bleaching, knotting, dying, frying, ripping, teasing, pulling, etc  but a majority of models know what to do (or learn very quickly ;)) to avoid it looking like a manky wreck.

Charlotte Free has no excuse; either she doesn't care or she really think that makes her oh-so-rebellious. ;)

I'm not a fan of her body, it's just normal to me... nothing special about her (except the old pink hair). Her personality seems horrible too...

In my humble opinion this thread should be in the takedown section.

I always wondered how they do that. Most of the models seem (just seem?) to have so beautiful, healthy and LONG hair though they have to wash it especially during fashion weeks sometimes more than once a day, have it ironed, curled, ironed again, a lot of hairspray in it and that daily. And though they are thin themselves, their hair seems to stay full. Someone like Olga Sherer... she has her hair dyed red since years without any roots (at least I don't know pictures with roots ;) ) and it always looks sooo shiny... :luv: I'm so envious.

Sorry for that off topic, I just like talking about things like hair so much.

I can't speak for the models, but my hair always looks amazing when I come from the salon. It's naturally black, bleached to an almost platinum blonde, and I flat iron it regularly....it's pretty damaged. I get my roots touched up monthly and they always make my hair fabulous- it feels soo healthy, not fried at all, so shiny, soft, strong, thick, etc. And then slowly throughout the month, it becomes more and more haggard. I'm assuming that models' hair always look fabulous because they are professionally styled at shoots and shows ALL the time.

Though if any models have any real secrets to amazing hair, I'd love to hear.

@Andie & @shannon5

Speaking from personal experience, my agency has deals arranged with certain salons (significantly reduced or in some instances free) to have their models hair maintained by them. It helps with the salons reputation, as well as a word-of-mouth mentality if and when they do an amazing job.

Also, I never ever "wait until tomorrow" to sort out an awful shoot/show hair-do  haha. Massive back-teased hair will NOT get any better in the morning! ;) I always condition my hair and I only use a broad-toothed comb or my fingers when my hair is wet so as not to stretch my hair (minimises the damage; this isn't to say stylists won't but at least I'm doing the right thing :p).
